Help! CRT or Princess Storybook?

In all our DW trips we have never done a princess meal. This year I am going to try to get into one or the other. I copies the calling instruction, so I am prepared... now I need to decide which one. For those of you that have been to both, what are the differences? Which one did you like better?

Thank you!
Michele

If it were me, I would choose CRT because I think the castle is special and I like the stuffed french toast but my niece who is 7 likes them both equally. She rotates, one trip CRT the next PSB.

I couldn't decide so we did both last year. My DD 7 liked storybook better, she was 6 at the time.

CRT was a zoo, and it took us forever to get seated.
I think the castle impressed me more than her.
I liked the food better at CRT.

Interaction was better at Storybook.
We were seated and served quickly at Storybook.
However beware, the food is heavy, don't try Mission Space right afterwards.

The number one thing that made her like Storybook better is she did not feel like she was missing anything or needed to rush. At CRT we could hear the sounds from Fantasyland as we langished for over an hour waiting for our seat (that is with a PS, and the CM's were nasty about it too). By the time we got seated a lot of the magic had worn off, we ate, snapped a few photos, and ran.

We liked them both. Eating in Cindy's castle is neat and doesn't seem as hard to get as it use to be or I've just been lucky the last few times. princess:

If you get the earliest ADR time at PSB in Norway, they have a little opening ceremony where all the little girls stand together in the front. Then they pick a princess from the crowd to wear a special cape and help open the castle doors. It's really cute. Then, they call the families in by saying "Princess Hannah and the Martin family", etc... We really liked the bf food at Akershus. DH loved the potato casserole.

I agree with the other poster-- at Cindy's we felt in a hurry to get out and tour the park. In Norway, the WS isn't open yet so there's no reason to rush!

We did both princess breakfasts in December. If I were to do one again, it would be CRT. The food was a little better there. I wasn't impressed with either meal actually and neither one lived up to the hype. The character interaction was the worst we've had at any character meal. I don't plan on going back to either one, though I may try the CRT lunch or Princess lunch or dinner at Akershus. We have had much better luck at 1900 Park Fare for dinner.

We booked both so we could see all the princesses but if i was forced to choose just 1 it would be the CRT..just something about eating in Cindy's castle

We've done CRT 3 times and PSB once- did both in Dec. We much prefer CRT! You cannot beat eating in the castle! The food wasn't spectacular at either- but then, you don't really go for the food do you? I'd give the food edge to PSB just b/c it seemed to have a little more variety- I think they had pasteries or something that CRT didn't have. DH loves the french toast at the castle. We were very disappointed in the character interaction at PSB. After reading so many reviews, we were excited to talk to the princesses here. No talking the morning we were there. It was quick, give my your book, smile for the camera, and have a nice day! Jasmine- DD's favorite and the reason we came- was literally running between tables. The only one who actually interacted with the kids was Mulan- and she was wonderful! But the day we were there, the princesses were very rushed! I will say, they were a little rushed at CRT too- more so than in our previous two visits, but they were not nearly as rushed as our PSB experience. After continuing to read the great reviews of interaction at PSB, I think maybe we just hit it on a bad day.
If I had to choose one, I'd definitely do CRT. If your princess has never eaten in the castle, it is such a great experience! We have been lucky enough to get an AR before the park opens- so missing the rides hasn't been an issue for us. Still, eating in the castle with the real princesses overlooking Fantasyland- priceless!

We always do both to be sure that we can see all the princesses! I have booked CRT for our trip, but my family isn't huge on breakfast...what is the lunch/dinner menu at the Norway Princess Lunch or Dinner...when did they start doing that?

princess storybook is much easier to get than CRT. though cinderella is not there at storybook, you can still meet princesses there. on our last trip, we had breakfast there and met snow white, sleeping beauty, belle and mary poppins. the food is just the same as CRT. the only differences are the location of the breakfast and cinderella is not there.

you can try to get PS for CRT. i wish you the best of luck because these PS go by so fast. it's insane. if you are that dedicated to get PS for CRT, then give it a try. good luck.
