I'm considering a quick trip to Disney alone with my 6 year old DD in a few weeks 3/13 - 3/16/05. Haven't planned but have ap and thought this would be a nice trip for the two of us while DH is out of town. Have never visited in March and looking for advise on crowds. Please help. :flower:

If you have NO expectations of being able to ride anything. This is Spring Break time. It will be PACKED! But, if you want to just go early, leave when it gets to be too crazy, and hang out at the resort...
I would rather be at Disney crowded than not at all!

I agree! We go every year at Spring Break time, which for us is the week of St. Patrick's Day. It is usually quite crowded, although not like when we went on Thanksgiving last year. THAT was crazy! If your little guy gets up early, plan to do a park early morning and ride what you can. Then you can relax all afternoon at your resort. The thrill of March is the weather -- it is usually gorgeous, around 80 degrees. The flowers are blooming and everything will be colorful and fragrant. Where I live it is snowy and gray and just thinking about all that color leaves me caring little about the crowds.

Come on down -- see you there! :sunny:

Think it's a really nice idea, but I'd get the hotel booked ASAP before getting too excited. We're going the week after and would guess it's getting near sold out by now. Good luck! :wizard:

I just booked for 3/24-3/27 and it took her 15 minutes to find me any kind of reservation. Plus I had to change my dates from the beginning of the week to the end of the week.

Just curious. What was still available and was it expensive?
