Hi! I am clueless and trying to plan a trip to Disney for my 2 and 5 year olds and my 70 year old parents. We would like to stay at the Poly sometime during the first 2 weeks in Nov. How do we get the cheapest possible rate? I've read about AP rates--do you need an AP pass when ordering? Any other suggestions? Also, I've also read about people getting upgrades (like a view of castle that I can't afford) How does one get an upgrade? Do you just get lucky and they offer it to you at check in? Or, do you have to ask? My Mom has her heart set on the Poly and my daughter is a Princess fanactic! Thanks for your help!

*If* a discount code is released for early November it won't happen until late summer. Just keep watching these boards and you'll find out if and when a code is released.

Sometimes the ap discount code is the best deal, but one member of your party must buy an ap. (annual pass) The prices for all tickets can be found at disneyworld.com.

Upgrades are sometimes given to people at check-in... but I've never been fortunate enough to get one. I think it's more likely to happen if you're traveling during the off season.... but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. You can always ask when you check-in if an upgrade is available. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Welcome to the DIS!!! Enjoy planning your trip!!

We stayed at the Poly last August and had an AP rate of 223.00 with tax, garden view room.
