help clear up confusion regarding ME

sorry for the following questions that have probably been answered 1000s of times but i just can't seem to get it straight. can someone please just tell me if i am getting this right?

we are flying on united. my understanding is that i am to place the special lugguage tags on my luggage and then check in as usual here at home. on arrival at mco, white glove cast members will direct me to the ME buses and i am NOT to pick up lugguage at baggage claim. the bus will take us to the resort and our lugguage will arrive in our room after we have checked in.

on departure day, since we are flying a participating airline, i am to go down to the airline check in desk and check in, while leaving my bags with them and getting my boarding passes. at my scheduled pickup time, ME will transport us to the airport.

did i get all that right because it feels like i made some wrong turns in there?

Yes to all. Place your tags on your luggage, have a safe flight, go to Ground Transportation level in Terminal A to find the ME desk, check in, board your bus, and wait for your luggage to Magically be in your room (once you have checked in and have a room).
When leaving, use the resort check in, catch the bus when stated on your little letter that Disney will give you the night before, go straight to the security check. Have a wonderful trip

Don't be looking for the white gloves on level 3 - they are kicking them out. Everything else looks good.

Yes that is exactly how it works but the white gloved CM's have been ordered off the 3rd level by airport authorities so don't get nervous if you don't see them. Just go to the escalator [or elevator] in terminal A and go down to level 1 and check in at the ME counter.

There will probably be signs instead of CM's directing you to the A side and DME.
