So we typically stay in either a 1 bedroom at BLT or a 2 bedroom at Wyndham Bonnet Creek. We have 3 DS age 6, 4, 2. We are booking late for our September trip so BLT is not available. Trying to decide between a 1 bedroom at OKW and Bonnet Creek. I've never stayed at OKW so have nothing to base my decisions on. I just know we get the perks of staying on property. What would you guys do?!? We'll have our car so getting to/from resorts is no big deal.

I would always choose onsite. It seems that even with a car, it takes too long to pop back to the hotel for breaks. And OKW looks very nice, with spacious rooms.

During free dining several years ago we were upgraded from Pop Century to a one bedroom suite at Old Key West and we loved the room. The only downside was it didn't "feel" like a Disney room/resort "theme wise".

Normally we don't go to Downtown Disney more than once a trip, but since Old Key West had a boat to DD we went several times that trip.

We just returned from 7 days at OKW. We loved it. You can park very close to your room. The boat to DTD was very convenient and runs on time. It has an island theme and is very laid back. My DH and DD loved having the water slide at the pool.
