Help choosing a boys name

I am 27 weeks PG and don't know what I am having.

IF it is a boy, 2 of the names we are considering are Mason and Ashton. So, those would be my 2 choices. Our other 2 boys are Preston and Camden.

I have always liked Nathan, but we like to choose names that aren't quite as "popular".

Thanks everyone. Dh and I both like uncommon but not wierd names. We had it narrowed down to basically Hagen or Ashton. Could not decide between them so we let DD decide and she chose Ashton.

So baby no name is officially Ashton Burke. Thanks again. Now that we know the name we can tell our family! LOL

You like names ending in "n". I like Nathan as well. Timeless and classic. Mason would be my second pick. Definitely not Ashton. Working in OB I see Ashton as a unisex name that is hot now, but not timeless.

So much depends on the last name that it is hard to choose. Without knowing, I like Mason and Tanner. Tanner is masculine and different.

I know you've chosen the name but I wanted to thank you for finding the name Hagen. Dh and I have 2 wonderful DD's and we've given them irish/gaelic names. If we ever have a boy, we will definately consider this name. Hagen is different and means "heart and mind."

I really LOVE the name Hagen, I had never heard that before, but that is the one you listed that really struck me. I couldn't name my child Ashton, it would always remind me of the only Ashton I had ever heard of..Ashton Kutcher (sp?), and I am not a big fan.

You didn't ask, but I think Ashton goes best with your Preston and Camden...........just my opinion...........

From your list I would have to go with Mason only because I know kids with the other names and they are snotty kids. All of the Mason's I know are nice kids.

Take it from a little league sports coach, we have more than enough Mason's Nathan's & Tanner's.

My 2 fav were Hagen & Ashton, I would have went Hagen as Ashton I think will be a common name very very soon.


And as for the nickcname Hagen Hayg sounds way better than Mase, Tan or Nate.
