Help!! Cancelling FP?

I’ve modified plenty ... but we think we want to switch parks today! I can’t modify to a different park ... if I cancel all three, can I book three new ones in the other park?
I rhoight I saw a long time ago that people lost their abiity to get FP adter canceling ....

It used to be very bad to cancel your FPs (before the change to allow 4th FPs to be booked on your phone) but not anymore. The the first post in the FP addendum discusses how to check availability without cancelling first though. It's probably better to do that if you aren't sure you're changing parks.

You should be able to cancel your FPs and then book new ones for the other park.
The only issue is I have read about people cancelling FPs and theyy don't seem to register as cancelled, so the system still thinks you have them adn won't let you make new ones.

I switched our AK and HS days and had to cancel both days FP b4 it would allow me to rebook FP since my friends ticket has 1 day at each park
