I was taking some pictures of my nephew this morning and somehow set my camera on TIFF format versus .jpeg. Now I don't know what to do with these pics! I can only view them with Microsoft Office Document Imaging.

Does this mean I won't be able to get prints made? Is there a way to convert the file from TIFF to .JPEG? I hate to think that our whole morning was wasted. :guilty:

Any photo editor should be able to export it as a .jpg file. TIFF is a much larger file size, but it should all be there.

If you don't have a photo editor program, you can get PhotoPlus (free) from www.freeserifsoftware.com

But the photo editor that comes with your camera should be able to do this.

Our hard drive was just reformatted (crashed video card) and I haven't loaded the camera software back onto the computer again. That's probably why I missed it. Thanks for your help! :love2:

you can also download Picasa ....it's pretty good for free photo editing software...
