Well i can only give my opinion on Sci Fi since I was there in May. Me and DS12 LOVED it - for atmosphere it can't be beat. I guess the 50's (so I hear) is very much like Mom telling you to eat your veggies, service very interactive. Sci Fi was neat for the dining-in-the-car atmosphere and the old SCi-Fi movies that were playing. We had burgers, onion rings & milkshakes. Food was OK, not bad but OK, nothing special. We would go again for the experience - it was neat to sit in the dark and eat like you were in a Drive in Movie at night
(note: if you go, stay away from the BLT soup, no matter what you hear! Blech!)

Are you doing a dinner or lunch?

If it is for lunch I would go with Sci Fi.... 50s for dinner. But, I like Sci Fi better out of the two.

Personally it's 50's hands down. I have always had a great meal and great time there.

It really depends on what type of atmosphere you are looking for though. Sci-FI is like eating at a drive in theatre. If you are shy and hate being the centre of attention this might be more for you.

50's is like going to eat with a big family. The servers are very interactive with the diners but in a fun way. They also seem to have a good feel for who they can really have fun with and who they can't.

50's easily. The food quality and Smores dessert is enough for me to make that decision. They have hearty home cooked style food here like fried chicken and meatloaf which are delicious. And i hear the pot roast is also very good.

Pot roast is my favorite!! 2nd is the fried chicken.

How many people in your party and ages?

SiFi seating is two by two and you don't face each other...you all face forward towards the screen.

Food wise....50's PT is one of my all time favorites!

.

Easily it would be Sci-Fi. I mean where else can you eat in a drive-in enviroment. You will be the center of attention at 50's if your table manners are not perfect.

Without a second thought it would be 50's. The only thing I found edible at Sci Fi was their milkshakes (got an afternoon ADR at a not-busy time of day for a milkshake, and that's it, on my upcoming trip).

Some of my best dining memories have been at 50's. It is alot of fun, provided you play along, and the food is amazing. Hearty, home cooked style food. Yummy!

50s PT. Eaten there 100s of times and always good food. Of course I've very anti-ScFI after getting a foreign object in my burger last year. I just can't bring myself to ever eat there, or recommend it again.

We love 50's PTC - eat there every trip.

We ate at Sci Fi once, and that was enough. The food was awful.

If going for dinner 50's has a better selection. We (DD, DS & DDboyF) did not care for SciFi food at all.

Love those smores!! My vote's for 50's... one of my favorite places to eat. The pot roast is amazing!!

Go to the Sci-Fi just for milkshakes. You'll get to enjoy the ambiance, but won't have to tolerate the food.

Thank you everyone for the help! I'll do replys later to everyone. I forgot to mention that it is dinner and we have to girls 11 and 13. Somebody said go to sci fi just for the shakes. I'm thinkin we might do that. I could only get 50s on the 24 and we planned epcot untill 4 and then dinner at beaches and cream and then magic kingdom untill closing (11) and for wishes and spectro. 50s is at 5 pm. And I'm thinking we could boat back to the resort (Dolphin) then boat to HS for our ressie. Then bus to CR and walk to the magic kingdom. We're on a budget this trip and i'm thinking is 50s really worth it. I would like to rest up a little before MK because we are doing opening at epcot. And maybe just go to beaches, Picaboos, or maybe cosmos in MK. Picaboos you could get a whole pizza for 14$. And then we could get something from the main street bakery to eat during wishes. Here are the ADRS we have but we are probably canceling a few. CP 1 00 on the 22 . This day we are
