Help Buying From Disneyshopping

Please could anyone advise me on the cost of bringing an item into the UK ordered from the Disney shopping website?
I want to order my husband a secret Christmas pressie from the online store and they are quoting me $30 for shipping and handling but will there be any other hidden charges?
Has anyone order from here before?

I don't know about customs charges, sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you have to pay. Shipping to the UK is very expensive.

I've used this site before. They have a flat rate of $12.50 no matter how much you buy. The item you want would have to be on it of course. Sometimes you are lucky with customs and sometimes unlucky. Ebay is also worth a consideration.

It is kind of hit and miss with customs sometimes you get lucky and other times you get charged! most times ive been lucky though, think they tend to target larger amounts!

With DisneyShopping I've been charged VAT/Duty every time. - they use DHL for delivery. Their admin charge is a lot less than the PO though (£1.50)

Yuo can usually count on about 25% of the value of your order being charged after delivery

Still can work out cheap though - especially when they have sales !
