Vegetarian diets are made up of plant-based food, not just those classified as vegetables. Below are dictionary definitions, although to the vegan one I would add for clarification that eggs, dairy, etc. are not consumed.Grains are not vegetables, either... but it seems to a staple of vegetarian diets! Maybe you could ask for it without the shell? It would be healthier that way, anyway!And I would caution veggies - the rice bowl at Kona has a wonton shell which they cook in the same oil as Chicken fingers - ask them not to.
