HELP??ANY one with Mother's Day weekend experience

Hi. We just decided to use some personal days to go to Port Orleans French Quarter Mother's day weekend. Do you think it will be crowded at the parks? The hotel only had water view left and when I checked just now...they were all sold out. I'd appreciate any comments. I thought May would NOT be crowded...maybe I'm wrong. Also, Riverside was sold out. THANKS

When we went during Mother's Day weekend the parks were not crowded, but were busy. For sure Mother's Day was a little more crowded, but it still wasn't too bad. the weather was beautiful too.

Ditto. We visited over Mother's Day last year, and it wasn't overly crowded (but neither was it UNcrowded like it would be in September or January). The crowds were moderate, but we never waited much more than 10 minutes or so for any attraction. Epcot is particularly beautiful that time of year, since the Flower & Garden Festival is taking place. Consider the Mother's Day Brunch Among the Flowers that weekend -- it was fairly reasonable, the setting was pretty, and it made for a special meal.

We went last year on Mother's Day and I agree with the above posters. It wasn't too bad. It was much worse when we were there 2 weeks ago. The only problem was it was very hot. There was record heat on Mother's Day last year.

The brunch at Epcot was great... wonderful food, happy people, a special time!

We just booked a trip for Mothers day week! We are soo excited this is a last minute thing and we are leaving the kids! WHOO HOOO!

Glad to hear it is not crowded. We are splitting the time between POFQ and the Royal Plaza. I am soo excited. I am use to going in Jan and September..but I can adjust..it is Disney after all!

We went on Mother's Day in 2001 and spent it at the Magic Kingdom. We had a great time. We mother's were even given a small carnation corsage at the gate! Made me feel special..

Didn't have to deal with any crowds until after lunch.
