Help help help

I just paid in full my April 12 through 17 ASmu package with DPP through AAA. Now I see there may be a code or a discount???? EEEEEK!
What do I do now?:confused3
Where on earth did you all find a code on Disney world.com???? I couldn't find it at all.
And I get a discount if I already paid in full w/ AAA?????
Can someone please tell the code I can use and what to do? Please Please Please:worship:

I always book directly so I am not sure how it works with AAA. I am sure there is someone here who can help you though...I know in the past after I have paid for my trip in full and a code comes out I am refunded the difference. It has been put back into my checking account since I used a debit card. Hope this helps somewhat.

Call your AAA agent, ask them if they can apply any of the public codes you see coming out here. If they can, you should be credited the difference. If not ask them if you can still get a refund on your trip. If you can, do some calculations to see if it's worth any refund fee or whatever -- be sure you can get the room and dates you want booking directly before cancelling your AAA trip or you could be out both!!!

We have always been able to change our package without canceling thorough AAA when a code came out. I would just call and ask if you can apply the code. The only problem we have had is that to use the code we had to switch resorts.

Thanks! The only code that I can figure out that I can use is the public code for ticket upgrades? I don't have an Annual Pass or AP (?). Do you think we'll have to switch resorts to get the ticket upgrade code in place???
I have emailed my AAA TA.
And here I was so happy to save almost $200 through AAA. If there is a resort upgrade code for the public I haven't found it yet. Is there one????

No "resort upgrade" code available. When people find codes that are applicable to their ressies, like FPHWPAM and AP rates, they tend to upgrade their resort and still save money, or pay the same or just a little more for a better resort category.

Like you, I also have a package booked through AAA for April, though I haven't paid in full yet. Be careful what you're wishing for. FPHWPAM (FREE park hoppers water parks and more) is a great deal for people who were already going to pay for them, or who were paying rack rate for their room. We weren't going to purchase those upgrades to our tickets, so to get that "deal," we would have had to forfeit our AAA discount to get something we didn't want anyway (no stacking of discounts allowed). We would consider buying one AP and using the AP code with dining (which we could do through AAA, I have already confirmed this by calling our agent), if there was availability for our dates. If this becomes available, AND it's worth it for us, our agent will simply apply it to our package (we'd spend more on the AP but save more on the room, could come out a wash).

What I'm trying to say is that it requires some advanced math to determine if any deal is really beneficial for your family in the end. Contact AAA and ask about free ticket upgrades and annual passholder discounts and see what happens. There is very limited availability on any of these discounts, we are finding out, so it might all be a moot point.

FWIW, the phone has always worked better for me than web sites. I can never seem to find answers to my questions on line.

I hope this helps.

Thank you everyone!
We paid for 2 rooms with DPP and Park Hopper but not Water Parks-we won't have time this year for Water Parks.
But...
Called the AAA TA and she got the ticket upgrade code for one of our rooms which saved about $100. Even though it has Water Parks and we won't be using them. For the other room it is just me and she found out it would cost me $50 more so I left my single room the way it is (with DPP and Park Hopper but no Water Parks). Yes, we had to lose the AAA discount for the other room in order to get the code but for some reason it turned out cheaper.
You do have to weigh it. With AAA there are some perks that you get (like free 5x7 photopass pic, special storytime and some discounts on boats and outside restaurants) which is ok during our time period-the only thing we would have used is the 5x7 photopass simply due to our time there and what we want to do.
So there it is.
You all helped me a great deal and I appreciate it very much.

MYW packages include rea raycer discount, 5x7 photo and other discounts on a restraurant and mini golf.

Forefeiting the AAA may not mean you lose those perks.
