No "resort upgrade" code available. When people find codes that are applicable to their ressies, like FPHWPAM and AP rates, they tend to upgrade their resort and still save money, or pay the same or just a little more for a better resort category.
Like you, I also have a package booked through AAA for April, though I haven't paid in full yet. Be careful what you're wishing for. FPHWPAM (FREE park hoppers water parks and more) is a great deal for people who were already going to pay for them, or who were paying rack rate for their room. We weren't going to purchase those upgrades to our tickets, so to get that "deal," we would have had to forfeit our AAA discount to get something we didn't want anyway (no stacking of discounts allowed). We would consider buying one AP and using the AP code with dining (which we could do through AAA, I have already confirmed this by calling our agent), if there was availability for our dates. If this becomes available, AND it's worth it for us, our agent will simply apply it to our package (we'd spend more on the AP but save more on the room, could come out a wash).
What I'm trying to say is that it requires some advanced math to determine if any deal is really beneficial for your family in the end. Contact AAA and ask about free ticket upgrades and annual passholder discounts and see what happens. There is very limited availability on any of these discounts, we are finding out, so it might all be a moot point.
FWIW, the phone has always worked better for me than web sites. I can never seem to find answers to my questions on line.
I hope this helps.
