Help a newbie out! Booking @ POR

So, the answer may be right in front of me, as I am about halfway thru The Unofficial Guide 2014...but...I'll ask anyway.

I'm trying decide when to book our stay in Dec. 2014. I've been stalking the Disney site for a few days, and I've noticed that the prices keep going up. Specifically, Dec. 9-16 at POR. I know that part of the week is "peak" pricing.

Please calm my fears and tell me that these prices will go down again! Is it like airfare, which fluctuates?

Here is a link to the pricing. The prices don't fluctuate from what you see listed unless Disney offers a discount for your travel dates. As you'll see, the rates are higher on the weekends, regardless of what time of year you go. This link shows what they call "rack rate" (full price).
