Good morning everyone,
Last night, I posted on my FB wall about SWGE. My youngest chimed in and says can't wait (meaning we're hoping to go in 2021) and then my mom chimes in and mentions that this would be a great idea for her and dad's 50th wedding anniversary. I quickly called her (so she wouldn't change her mind.. lol) and she's dead serious. Even dad wants to go and he hates to travel so this completely impressed me as they live in Seattle.
Their 50th is this year but I was able to talk them out of going this year as it will be a madhouse there and I need time to plan it out (ADR's, FP's, etc). They are on board for next year sometime in September/October time frame. This will give me, my boys and my DIL time to pay for our portion.
It will be 6 adults- My folks who are in their 70's, my adult sons, DIL and myself. My DIL is in a wheelchair so we need a handicap accessible room. I would rather keep the costs down so reserving more than 2 rooms is out. My question is this, would it be better to stay say at a moderate resort with 2 rooms or just rent DVC with 2 bedrooms? Do they even offer accessible rooms for DVC?
My folks want to stay on property so offsite isn't an option and to tell you the truth, I want to stay onsite as well as we don't get to DW often. This very well may be the last time that my folks go to DW. My folks haven't been since 1997 and we haven't had a full family vacation ever so making this the most magical vacation is my top priority.
Any assistance would be so helpful! I went from a solo trip next year to planning a 6 adult vacation for family members in different towns/states. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed this morning.
HELP!!
