Help-43 and black friday newbie target ?

So I have never done a black Friday. I have done cyber Monday, bargain shopped, used kohls coupons etc. and always done pretty well. But I want a Disney Infinity for xbox 360 and it looks like black Friday will be my best deal. I have heard target is a little less crazy than walmart. So tell me bf veterans, what do I need to do to get my Infinity? My Target is opening at 8 thanksgiving and I am not in a major city but decent sized small town. When do I get there, where do I go when they open, what can I expect. Also hoping to scoop up some $5 pajamas. But infinity comes first.

Go to Walmart RIGHT NOW. They are on sale for $37 now in stores!

They weren't supposed to, but apparently they kicked off hte sale early. Everything is currently ringing up on sale. You may not get anything if you wait until morning.

It's true, word is out! Even if it isn't marked in your store (it was marked in mine but some are reporting it isn't yet), chances are it's ringing up already at the $37 at Walmart.

We only have 2 Target stores to cover about a half million people in a 20 mile radius, so each situation is unique.

Each Target store will have a map of where the product that you want is located, you should be able to find the map online before the ad starts. Depending on the expected popularity of the product and the price savings will determine how many hours early to get there. Lines are very long but move quickly.

My policy is if another store has the same product within a couple of dollars before Black Friday, paying the few extra bucks and having the product in hand is much better than the likely multi hour commitment to buy something that may be out of stock.

My advice is to go with at least one other person so you can team up. The past few years, I have gone to Target in the dead of night, which is only around the corner for me, and gone into the store only to find mass chaos with baskets filled with giant TV boxes, and carts in general, everywhere. If you go alone you won't be able to leave your cart to try and get into places that are blocked by others and more carts. If you leave your cart, someone is going to help themselves to your stuff. People are animals on Black Friday! Another benefit is that one of you can scout out the line situation and not have to just get in a line and wonder for an hour if you are ever going to get out of the store. Good luck!
