Help 1st day arrival strategy.

Hi , I am arriving on 1/1.
Won’t be landing till 3pm.

1. my park Ressie is at studios.
If I don’t go there can I go to any park after 2.
2. If I purchase genie can I book a ride for the evening at 7 am.

You have to tap into your reserved park before you will be allowed to park hop, even if it’s after 2pm.

Yes, you can book a LL for the evening at 7am…BUT, you will not be able to select your time like FP in olden times. Genie+ will only show you the next available time, meaning you will not get offered an evening time right away. The most popular attractions, however, will show later times quicker. For example, Slinky Dog will show evening times VERY fast just after 7am. Star Tours on the other hand will definitely maintain morning return times for quite a while. I hope that makes sense.

If you plan to purchase the individual lighting lane attractions aka ILL$ (ie Flight of Passage or Rise) you get to select the time you want. You can purchase these at 7am if you are staying on property. If you are off property you will need to wait until the park opens to book those.

You can purchase the individual LL without buying Genie+. I would do so for ROTR if you want to ride that, just select a time in early evening/after you land.

I would keep your HS reservation and then hop to Epcot for the final remaining hours if you want.
