Thank God that Melissa is gone.

I know who I think should win. (And he hates trash)

Does anyone know why these people choose to eat here? Are the meals free? I mean, they dress up, look like they have money to eat anywhere -- yet they choose to go here and often times, esp, the first few episodes, the patrons leave with no food after a few hours of sitting. If they dare complain or ask Gordon a question they are insulted and screamed at. I know my desire to be glimpsed on tv is not that strong to sit around and wait for dinner!
I think I read in TV Guide last year, (during the second season,) that they were selected somehow. I don't think they pay, but I could be mistaken.

Right as this season started I read an article that said that the winner had been leaked and yes, he hates trash!! :rotfl:

There was a small write-up about Melissa in the NY Daily News yesterday.

For all who were curious about that thing on her chin she said she was burned with oil.

She also claims she was made to be the villian and she is not that bad in real life. She says she is a culinary teacher.

Anyone watch tonight?

I am excited for the new twist next week...always one fo my favorite week's for this show!

I thought Josh would be the one to go tonight... Bonnie as my 2nd choice only because she messed up the delivery order.

I think it's going to be between Rock & Julia...

I was surprised by tonights outcome

We were too, completely. From the eliminated person all the way to what he did with the two remaining teams.
I can't help thinking co-operation is paramount when working in a kitchen, so even if Jen and Rock are excellent cooks, if they can't get their acts together and work as a TEAM then they'll be left behind.

OK now someone PLEASE PM me with who you're thinking will win. DH and I love the short order cook, probably just because she's been such an underdog, ya know?

I knew he'd end up combining the teams eventually. Jen's behavior was quite different than normal on this episode. Maybe the true side of her is showing. I found it interesting that she complained and rolled her eyes a lot about the dinner menu, saying it wasn't good enough, etc., yet she didn't seem to come up with ONE idea of her own. Same in the first challenge where they had to use the leftovers -- she didn't like anyone's ideas, but had none of her own.

I loved it when Chef Ramsey asked what imput Julia had to the menu and she told the truth -- nothing! Then she added what she had wanted on there and it turned out to be the restaurant's top order.

Coming attractions show Rock crying and saying he doesn't want to disappoint his family -- wonder how that twist will work itself out?

I just can't believe that Bonnie and Jen *still* keep dissing on Julia because she's a short-order cook and doesn't know of every fancy food in the world... How many times does she have to prove herself??

DS and I were also surprised that Josh didn't go. He was our vote!

I think the guys put Brad up because they thought if they put Josh up he's get booted, since I believe Bonnie has had better services then Josh. So they put Brad up thinking Ramsey would def. get rid of Bonnie over him, since he was not the worst person. I then think Ramsey was annoyed, since he seemed suprised at their pick, so got rid of Brad, just because Blue team wasn't being fair, and not putting their worst person up.

Remember a few weeks ago, they nominated Melissa and Josh, and Ramsey said they'd been overruled, and told Bonnie and Vinnie to get up there? Since those two weren't the worst. I think that's what Blue did again, and nominated their second-to-worse, to try and get another girl gone instead of one of them, and it backfired.

I was so glad for Julia yesterday. She gets such crap from the other women because she is from Waffle House. :sad2: I hope she outlasts the last 2 women.

Rock will probably win, but his arrogance is annoying. Jen is a stuck up witch. Julia and Bonnie are the only ones left I like.

I agree. ::yes:: I think they did that, thinking that it would save one of the guys from elimination. I'm surprised that Chef Ramsey didn't veto that choice as well, except that he's already pulled that "surprise move" once.

I think the crying Rock preview is just a creative editing ploy to make us think that he's in danger of getting eliminated. I'd be shocked if he doesn't at least make it to the finale.

I wan't waffle girl to win. She may not be haut cuisine - but she seems to be able to produce. The frou frou can come with exposure.

She can name her resturaunt "Kiss my Grits"

I agree I think if the others had to cook that many steaks at one time they would of been overdone or raw or something.

Why is everyone crying so much this season?

I agree- there's more to running a restaurant than knowing what all the fancy foods and are. Julia definitely can RUN a restaurant - the others may be able to put forth more fancy menus - but I have serious doubts about their ability to manage a kitchen.

As a consumer, I would have no desire to make a special trip to Hell's Rock.....But I would go to Hell's Waffle House.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

What goes with waffle wellington? Merlot or a Shiraz?

I like Julia. She get's kind of pissy sometimes, but I think that is the company she keeps .;)

I could see Rock being the Executive Chef of the restaurant and Julia running the kitchen. She's definitely the best cook of the group, but probably not the best chef (if that made any sense?)
