She grates on my nerves because she talks like she can do anything, but everything she does ends up being a disaster. That and her voice has a nasally ring to it like The Nanny (Fran Drescher)

If I had hair like Melissa, I would french braid it for working and have that heaband or kerchef to keep the stray hair back. And I wouldn't let it go all over the place like that when everyone would see it being so unruly.

I recorded exactly 53 minutes of it and missed the end. It stopped when the blue team was talking about who would go home. If you can't tell me what happened in this thread PLEASE PM me with the ending and what the previews showed next weel.

If you really do want to know who went home tonight, scroll over. I've used the white text color to avoid spoiling the episode for anyone.

Blue team was just awful. Sent out 2 entree`s total, if I recall, compared to red teams two tickets left...Melissa was horrendous and unceremoniuosly sent home. Chef called Josh and Brad out on the carpet, as he was NOT impressed with either of them, but ultimately let them both stay, to make the teams even at three players each.

Next week's preview showed the teams making their own menus and going head to head with orders, and the red team losing communication and control in the kitchen.

We shall see if the edit is meant to fool us...

Is my memory faulty or does the female team always win the challenge when the prize is the photo shoot? I seem to remember the last two seasons the girls going also. And tonight I thought for sure the blue team was going to win. They were much more creative and the plating was better and Gordon didn't really have anything bad to say about any of their dishes; yet the red team won.

It is funny how the female team has won the photo shoot this season and the one previous....Do you think that perhaps Gordon prefers to be seen surrounded by women??! (I don't remember a photo shoot from the first season.) I do remember that nasty girl farting during the photo shoot last season, though.

Actually, my DH has a theory that Gordon has already chosen his winner...and it's not a member of the red team. Hence, he will let the red team win, and throw tough situations at the blue team to get them (blue team) ready to run a restaurant to his standards.

Funny - my friend's son said "Ever notice how when the red team wins, Gordon goes along with them on their reward, but when the blue team won, he didn't go with them?"

Can I add that I honestly don't think any of this bunch can run a restaurant. I know that restaurant management is more than cooking skills and I am still not seeing the kind of leadership that is needed.

I agree with the previous posters who think the winner has already been chosen from the blue team. I was watching the show last night with this in mind, and I noticed that Gordon gave certain people an extra hard time, beyond his "you stink, you can't cook" stuff. It almost seemed to me like he was testing one or two certain people. Now, I'm really curious to see if they are the final two.

Another thought about this show: I know it's not a "family" show, but is anyone else surprised at the amount of cursing that is not bleeped out? I am not a prude by any means, but wow! Some of those words I didn't even know they allowed on tv!

Does anyone know why these people choose to eat here? Are the meals free? I mean, they dress up, look like they have money to eat anywhere -- yet they choose to go here and often times, esp, the first few episodes, the patrons leave with no food after a few hours of sitting. If they dare complain or ask Gordon a question they are insulted and screamed at. I know my desire to be glimpsed on tv is not that strong to sit around and wait for dinner!

Really hope the girls can keep it together next week and that the previews are misleading, like always. Remember last weeks preview? They showed Ramsey screaming at the girls and then Julia crying and wiping her eyes. They make it out like Ramsey is yelling at her and she is breaking down because of it. Of course, that is not even close to what happened.

So, you guys think someone from the blue team is going to win it? Who? The only one on that team that is even worth his salt is Rock. At least that is what I'm seeing. Last night though, with him having a total meltdown over having to do the recycable's. WOW Talk about overreacting. He really needs to get a crip. I can't imagine him acting like that in a restaurant that he was running.

The people who eat there are "selected". They get a free meal plus $50 each. They are probably a bunch of wanna be actors and models.
