Been a rough year so far for her. She's had a lot of trouble over the last two months with multiple fever spikes hitting over 103 a week which wipe her out. The smaller ones that go to 100 or so she can handle with no problem, but these big ones knock a lot out of her. She's hanging on though. Definitely a tough redhead and not whiny like the one we just watched on tv Thanks for asking!

I have thought Rock and Julia were stand outs from day one. Initially I liked the little guy (forgot his name already!), but he was voted out first or second. I guess a lot goes on behind the camera that we don't see cause Chef definately did not see much potential in him

Just jumping in to say that I really enjoyed this show last season, but stopped watching as of tonight because it's become so obvious that it's completely staged and fake.

And last year's winner (Heather) never even got her prize/restaurant.

It's kind of like watching pro-wrestling.... I refuse!!

About how it's staged? Just that it's so obvious, especially when you see the customers in the restaurant.... and when Gordon called the lady a giraffe last week. It's like they tell him to be over the top, and they tell the customers to complain and send stuff back. None of it rings true.

About Heather? She was named senior chef and not executive chef of the resaurant because the owners didn't feel she had enough experience.

Did you catch where she said she still had 4 minutes for her dish to be ready to the girls...and then when Chef Ramsay came around, she said "I'm done; I'm waiting a few minutes for you" I'd have come unglued - good for Julia for speaking up - I would have wanted to slap that mess of a head of hair off her for that one.

Does anyone know if this is an actual restaurant they're using, and where it is? I'm curious.

I'm sorry to hear that she is still having those rough bouts. She is one spunky cookie and I do keep her in my prayers and thoughts.

Julia and Rock for us

Us as well. DD and I have liked Julia from the start but the last few weeks have shown that Rock is a leader in the kitchen and can get the guys to step up. It will be interesting to watch these two go toe to toe becasue I'll bet the are the final two.

She is a walking talking mess who grossed me out more with the spazzed out hair and that thing on her chin than the guy last year with plumbers butt or the guy who sweated on the fish a few weeks ago.I just kept getting the willies looking at all of that hair hanging in her face. And that thing growing reminded me of Nanny Mcphee ewwwwwwww

I hope the guys are able to get rid of Melissa next week. She is an idiot. She shouldn't even be allowed to work in a kitchen with her attitude and what she has shown of her ability. I can't believe he kept her on. The poor guys. They don't deserve this for winning, it's like a punishment in and of itself.

The hair needs to be chopped or at least combed. Maybe they can hold her down one night while she is sleeping and cut it? Oh, yeah, the lawsuits. Darn!!

The hair looked like a rats nest and then she stands there and makes a scene when it comes to serving the bride and groom the tasting menus? If I was the bride and groom I would have been scared to try any of their food. The duck breast had me cracking up. No sauce or anything, just an over cooked duck breast. Thank goodness the guys made something decent.

I love the fact that she runs over to the boys for the sauce that she ruined and they wouldn't give her any and then Ramsey kicked her out of their kitchen.

I'm still rooting for Julia, all though the previews for next week don't look promising for her.

Melissa drives me crazy. Her hair is NASTY and she is a liar. I was so mad when she was allowed to stay.

I think Chef Ramsey has the hots for Melissa and Bonnie, and that's why he won't get rid of them. Although, Bonnie has shown great improvement that last couple of weeks.

Time for Melissa to go, she was definitely trying to sabotage things and Chef caught her. Why, oh why, did he move her over to the guys side???
