I love my kids. There are times when I have to go for a drive by myself, just so I can remeber what "quiet" sounds like. Monkey used to let out a high pitched scream when he was happy. My favorite times for those sceams were at the grocery store. I could hear people going "Oh man" and cringe. I would say (lound enough so they could hear me) it's not a library, scream again. He would giggle and belt out another. Once someone comment at the check out about his energy, about how he must be a handful. I tell them I would much rather have him run around, giggling and laughing, then have him be hurt or disabled. Little boys are supposed to run around IMO.
