Yes, I am very relieved as well. I am sure his wife is as well. Even though he is now getting better, I am sure she would rather him come home than continue to stay and work. But I guess they gotta do what they gotta do.

I think having him in Russia has got to be scary enough. I have an acquaintance who has a daughter who left to go teach English as a second language in the Republic of Georgia. I would be so worried if it was one of my daughters.

Yes, I would be too. When Matt was explaining all the rules he had to follow about staying safe there, it was sounding so scary. He makes great money over there, but sometimes you gotta wonder if it's worth it. One of the things I remember him telling me is that he was told not to sit near any trash cans while at the airport waiting for his flights. Just in case someone has decided to plant a bomb. How scary is that? That there would be enough to change my mind about working there.

His Dad also did the Russia thing for years and years. Until one night he got into a fight at the bar and ended up having to get a metal plate in his cheek to replace the shattered bones. No thank you!

I saw that! She is a one heckuva drama queen I like some of her songs, but honestly I don't think she's all that

Speaking of drama, to add to my list: TEENAGE drama. Both da boy and da girl are pulling various kinds of shenanigans. DH is going to meet with their mom and them tonight.

DD6's party at the bowling alley went well. It was very easy, they did pretty much all the work, we just had to show up and pay the bill Pricey, but worth it. The cupcakes were a huge hit. And I must say, I don't think I'm ever doing a cake again. Cupcakes were just too darn easy. No cutting it on to plates, passing out with forks, cleaning up, having a big chunk of leftover cake.
