Hello to the experts/fans

Well, I've been lurking for the past month for my upcoming Orlando trip (29Oct to 08Nov) this year and just decided to join since I don't think my enthusiasm is going to die down anytime soon. I seem to have been appointed the planner of the trip for my family of three (mom, boyfriend and me) and wow, it's a lot! The last two times I've been to WDW, I was either tagging along with my college friends or was just a little kid. I never realized how much I missed until now (didn't see a single show or parade last time because it was on other people's schedules).

I guess WDW has gotten bigger and busier than the last time I went but hopefully, I'll make it as enjoyable as possible for my little group in five months. I'll be staying at the Wilderness Lodge and it will be everyone's first time staying on site. For my boyfriend, it'll be his first time at any Disney property (other than a Disney store in malls) and Universal Studios. So wish me luck in the coming months!

Hi there!

I hope your trip planning is going well so far. There's definitely a lot of things to read about ahead of time, but it's nice to know what things you are primarily interested in so that you don't miss them once your vacation arrives. Wilderness Lodge is a wonderful resort and I bet you all will love it Enjoy your planning and I hope you have a wonderful trip!

It can definitely be overwhelming when you're appointed the "planner" for your group. The same thing is happening to me right now, so I totally understand but it's also fun! Of course, the greatest fun will come with you're actually on your trip, and I'm sure your mom & BF will have a blast right along with you
