HELLO ? MICKEY? ARE YOU THERE?It's me again, and again, and again.....TR STARTED 6/3

I love your countdown! Your hand must be tired, though, from all that cutting!
Thanks, Denise. :thumbsup2 Actually, it wasn't that bad.

You are definitely NOT nuts! I love it!

Thanks, Megan! I appreciate your faith in my sensibility! :rotfl:

Unfortunately, I'm not doing one - don't want to rub it in the boys faces that I'm going and they aren't.......
That's probably best for this trip. Maybe you can just keep a little calendar in your purse, for yourself! ;)

That countdown is the cutest - ever! And I can imagine all the work that went into cutting out all the Mickey heads. I think you probably need a massage now. Or at least a deluxe manicure...

Thanks, Susan! I like your way of thinking! :thumbsup2

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: Kevin sounds like Dale.

I guess they'd get along........except for that Seminoles cap Dale has! :lmao:

Very cute! :cutie:
:) Thanks, Mary!

Love the countdown calendar! I think you did a great job Michelle! :thumbsup2

Thanks, Leanne! Knowing all the cute stuff you do with baking, I'm flattered! :)

ITA! Way cute countdown (I'm craft challenged too!)

Thanks, Katie! :) You may be craft challenged, but your bleach pen shirts turned out great! :thumbsup2 I'm still going to try those before this trip.

That countdown is adorable!!! What a great idea!!!

Thanks, Jackie! :) but I can't take credit for the idea.

For a gal who claims not to be so crafty, your countdown turned out great. What a unique idea! I haven't started our countdown calendar yet but it's supposed to be raining this Saturday so that may be a good time to start that project.

Love the countdown calendar. I wish I had another one that was coming up that soon.
Awww, thanks! :) I can't stop thinking, though, that when this trip is finished, I will be entering a Disney drought for some while. :sad2:

Love it! How creative! I think we're going to start some type of countdown calendar when we get to 30 days out. Maybe I should go to home depot to get some Mickey heads.

Thanks, Alicia! You should have seen me in HD. The paint lady asked if I needed any help, and I was like, "No, No." Then as soon as she turned the corner, I was scooping up paint cards like there was no tomorrow! :lmao:

That looks pretty crafty to me! And time consuming...how long did it take you to cut all of those Mickey's out?! My hand hurts just thinking about it! :upsidedow
Well, thanks, Courtney. :) I think I may have spent about an hour total cutting out the Mickey heads. But I didn't do it all in one sitting---That probably helped.:thumbsup2

Love the countdown!! So cute!
Thanks, Julia! :)

Well, I do have my crafty moments, I guess! :)

I thought my kids would like this idea. We have a sort-of Advent calendar that we hang on the fridge every year at Christmas. It has little pockets 1-24, and everyday you move this little stuffed Santa to each pocket to count down the days until Santa comes. Even as old as my girls are, they still want a turn "moving Santa." :rotfl:

We have something similar that I hang on the wall every Christmas, except it has 'ornaments' that are in all the pockets. Each day you remove an ornament and hang it on the tree above the pockets, when all the ornaments are hung, it's time for Santa! Justin still likes to take his turn at hanging the ornaments as well, I guess in some respects they never grow up :goodvibes

Isn't it funny some of the things that we think they'd be too "big" to care about, and they still want to do them. Maybe it shows that even though they're growing up, they're still our little babies at heart! :goodvibes

Great idea on the count down calender, and I love the fact it can be used again for future trips.

Exactly! :thumbsup2 Each day, I have a little container that I'm putting those Mickey heads in to save for another trip.

Would you believe that I just posted a trip report update, and then realized that I'd posted it here on the PTR. What a dope I am! So I had to delete the post---thus the reason for this crazy post!

Sounds like something I would do! :lmao::lmao: You could have totally covered it up and no one would have known the difference. :goodvibes

That's what happens when you have to keep track of so many different Disney trips! ;)

:lmao::lmao: I almost spit coffee on the computer screen when I read this! Too funny. That's what I would be doing. At some point, someone might start wondering where all the Mickey head paint cards are going! :rotfl2:

Me too! I usually have my 12 year old son be my "look out" while I swipe the cards.

I was so mad at myself, Leanne, when I went back to add "Update" to the title, and realized it was on the wrong thread! Thanks goodness I had typed it in word, so it was still on my computer!

Yeah, yeah, yeah..........................:rotfl:

I guess I should admit that I then went and used the restroom, so I wouldn't be leaving as quickly as I had entered! That looks a little too suspicious! ;)

:rotfl2: Unfortunately, I was traveling alone that day, Lisa! I've tried not to embed my children in my life of crime! :lmao:

Why, oh why, does the Disney Outlet insist on sending me an email whenever they add new graphic tees for $4.99?????????????
