I am down to 15 work day

If we're going to count work days................I have 27 days of school left! Then I will leave for Disney the next day!

I need to add a 1/4 day to my countdown; they called this morning and asked if I could work 3 hours tomorrow. There is a c-section scheduled for 34 week twins and they needed extra hands.



But we are at 39 days

I’ve been thinking about making some sort of countdown chain, but really wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. I’m not exactly the crafty sort, but I saw something recently that I knew I could manage and would still be a fun way to count down our days.

So, today, I headed to everyone’s favorite Home Depot to grab up some Mickey head paint cards. I got at least one of nearly every color. Then, it was on to Hobby Lobby, to find some alphabet stickers and some magnetic tape. I came home and proceeded to cut out all those Mickey heads.

Here’s the finished project---

When Kevin came home, and saw it, he just rolled his eyes. Then he looked at me and said, “You’re nuts.”

Let the countdown commence!
