Hello, I have a CM question hopefully someone can answer (m)

I was planning on making a mini album for my cousin who is having twins. And, I was going to use the albums I have but they are 6 by 6 and she doesn't scrap. So, I was looking to get her an album where she would just have to glue the pictures in. Would the 7 by 7 CM albums work. I was going to put a mat on the page with the CM photo splits so, literally all she has to do is put the photo down. I wasn't sure how much of the edging the took up in the 7 by 7's. Is it a half inch? Wouldn't that make the album really 6.5 by 7's. What do you think?

Hi Tina,

I just pulled one of my 7x7 albums and measured the actual paper with the jeeping (edging) and without....it is truly 7 inches of paper; 7 1/2" if you include the jeeping. My first thought is that it would be 6 1/2" of paper, since the 12x12 pages are not true 12x12, but that's not the case with the 7x7 albums.

I think your idea is great- I did that for 2 friends using a 7x7 album and the boy & girl snap packs. It was fun and they enjoyed getting a ready made scrapbook for their wee ones.
