I know. And they had three weeks are Christmas. I would have loved that as a kid.

Holy sheep! 3 weeks for Christmas? Yeah, we definitely didn't have that at my school. Sheesh. We seemed to get screwed in the days off department. Many a times other schools near us got a day off but we didn't. It always drove us nuts when we'd be stuck in a classroom.

They were had about 2 weeks of school added to their year. I think they would rather have the earlier get out day in June.

Sometimes I wonder, lol. I wish there wasn't such a huge difference in every single school schedule. I get that they all can't be identical but some of the differences make me scratch my head.

I'm so ready for bed again already. How sad is that?

morning all.. im so tired.. hopefully they are sending my mom home today... god i hope so! I want to go home!!!

I heard from a co worker last night that the casino lost 2 employees and one in critical condition because they fell asleep on their way home and hit a tree.. my heart goes out to their families.. and I know their supervisor, hes a good friend of mine, he gets really attached so i know he is a total wreck. when he had one of his girls get real sick and pass out at work one night she had to go by ambulance to the hospital he took off when the ambulance with her while calling her family and stayed at the hospital with her for a while.. when he came back i could clearly see he was crying.. so I am going to be calling his wife later to see how he is doing.. both her and I have an understanding/common pet peeve about girls who we are friends with calling our husbands all the time.. so.. i'll call her and see how he is doing.. plus he works graveyard and she works days so i know he will be sleeping or at the hospital with the other girl.. i hope the one employee in critical condition pulls through.. man that road up there is no joke..

I deal with someone like that. She text messages Scotty and she purposely misspells my name on facebook where you know as well as I do they can see it. Recently she saw us together and she spoke to Scotty and not me. I was rather pushed out of joint and pushed pretty much passed my limit. I forced her to acknowledge me. Now anytime she talks to him on facebook I involve my self in the conversation knowing full well that his friends will welcome me. And the next time she calls me anything other than by name I am calling her by a different name.

To be honest, I'm in a camp where some people take the whole 'females talking to my husband a little too far. If I was friends with a co-worker who happened to be male and married and was friendly with his wife, I would be very put off if I wasn't allowed to call him personally to see how he was doing. There's a huge difference between that and what the woman Michele mentioned was doing. I honestly can't stand that if I had to be honest.

You are correct Jessica. There is a difference. If it was a situation where they worked togother or had a class together i would be good with that. I know for a fact my husband gets calls and texts from a few ladies that work for him. But when i visit him at work they are very friendly with me and are not up to anything. So yeah, each case is different.

I just know that when I'm the wife I don't want to be uber-paranoid control-freak, you know? There are some out there who take things waaaay too far. And then they give you a laugh every now and again when you hear stories because you can't imagine someone that crazy.
