Sadly we had to postpone. Michele had a bit of a catastrophe going on at home and still isn't feeling so well.

I have to make a Target run soon. Hopefully I can find a cheap pink shirt.

I hate the waiting too. I tried calling back, but there was no answer. And now they are on lunch, so I have to wait a little longer to get a hold of them.

That reminds me of what happened to my brother on Gay Days... it was red shirt day for Gay Days, and we didn't know it. Garrett (my brother) came to the park later that day, as he had a cold and wanted to sleep a little longer. Well Dillon and I quickly figured out what all the red shirts were all about, and I mentioned to Dillon that I hope Garrett doesn't choose to wear a red shirt. Well he did. And he didn't notice at first, but whenihubi we told him, his face went almost as red as his shirt. Then he frantically ran to the nearest souvenir shop to buy a shirt that wasn't red. While keeping his girlfriend as close as possible so no one would get any ideas. The whole situation was pretty priceless.

Morning Michele......I have to agree.....not a day to say "Good"......woke up in the middle of the night drowning in my own goo........crap, crap, crap!!!!!!! Coughing & have a sore throat........no bueno! I leave in 2 days & I feel craptastic......great!

And I got a call from my doctors office saying they want to talk to me about my blood results. Which scares me a little. Usually if you don't hear from them, it's a good thing. But they want to see me....

In big news, DH went back to work today! He was so excited. I'm nervous about his shoulder, but it should be OK. I've been getting a lot of cleaning/organizing done around the house

The shirt is for the DIVA trip. Each day has a different shirt theme. I have a black one, I'm in on the castle shirt for this trip, now I just need pink. Well, and lime green if I make it on Thursday as well. Hopefully I'll find something on the clearance racks that went down today. I can't spend a lot.

That trip sounds like it will be a blast jazz. It sounds very well organized. You are sounding better. Are you? Maybe a little?

I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. Hopefully, you will be fine in time for your trip.
In 2009, I was so looking forward to attending an event for the Haunted Mansion. Well, what I had eaten the night before, tasted ok... but wait for it.............. at about 5:30 in the am, my stomach had other thoughts. Well.. one of my first thoughts were, OMG! Today is this very special event, and I am going to be sick! What are the odds?
Anyway...... for about 2 hours, my tummy was not well. As in tossing my cookies from the night before, only it was a hamburger. I believe it was food poisoning. This did not happen at the land. I had not visited yet. Denny's at Anaheim Fullerton-East, made me sick!! I will never eat there again! Anyhow.... when I felt better, I was able to go back to sleep. Doing so fo a couple of hours. Then I needed to get ready to go to DCA. I decided not to eat anything at all,not until dinner anyway. Even though I was hungry long before then. Thank god I was fine for the rest of my trip.

What are you doing to feel better? If it is really bad, I suggest going to see a doctor. Or at least calling an advice nurse, if you have Kaiser. I use to, but not for a long time now. It was nice though, while I had that option myself.
For a queasy tummy, what helps me is ginger ale. And for hunger, soup that is very mild, and or saltine crackers. Not that you probably need any kind of advice from me, because you have 7 children. So I don't know, I thought I would try to be of help, all the same. I don't have any kids. Only cats....
I think they give me hair balls...

I hope that you and your family have a really awesome time at Disneyland. And that you are feeling 100 % ASAP!

Thanx for the advice....unfortunately, I don't have insurance or a doctor. I picked up some store brand of zinc cold remedy stuff that you use on the onset of the cold.....they're melt aways....so I'll see how they do today.

Thanks everyone. I hope it's nothing serious either. The blood test was to make sure I don't have gestational diabetes and one other pregnancy related disease, which I don't remember what. So I really hope I don't have either, I feel fine, but who knows. At this rate I'm not sure I will ever find out, because they won't pick up their phone.

Target is my life. Or at least my livelihood. Sadly no pink shirt. Well, there was one on clearance for 75% off but it was a lovey dovey thing left over from Valentine's Day which doesn't work for me. I'll probably drop by Ross or Marhals today and see if I can find anything for cheap there.

When I'm distracted ... a little. But I'm not distracted enough or at least as much as I'd like to be. Been doing a lot of thinking lately. It helps, but doesn't all at once.

Oh it was awful, my oldest Kacy locked her bedroom door and we cannot find a key. My son had to break into the house to get into their room. I would go into details but a public forum isn't the place. And to top it off I am sick. Not, much fun at all.

So far not yet. BUT I did print out the Press Passes and they came out beautifully. Now I just need to do the backs and laminate them. Prints aren't as cheap as I would like, but that's what you gotta live with. I figure it's a small way I can contribute, lol.

Cool, if you need some financial back on the passes let us know......things can add up quickly....believe me I know. I had the meet-n-greet committee just reimburse me for the bags & I covered the stencils, paint, brushes & all the scrapbooking stickers I used. I think when it was all said & done I spent $75 on supplies (not including the bags). More than intended but it's all good.....I was glad I had a project that made it impossible for Mike to tell me I couldn't go......lol Worth every penny!!

Working on laundry & started packing clothes....but now have to wait until I get some things washed to finish up.

When is our next vacation?

My next vacation will probably not be for several months. I would love to go to Disneyland this Xmas. I want to see the park decorated so badly in its holiday attire.
