yeah.. I have a friend that I met in HS and then she met my DH.. she dated DH's best friend quite a few times and she is always texting and calling DH with her problems.. one night she asked if she could come over.. I just hate it.. I told her she crossed the line and I dont like her ALWAYS calling and texting DH because I know she would have a HISSY fit if I did the same to her BF.. irritates me..



yeah.. my friend at work, Cassie, and I have had discussions about things like this.. I would flick that chick like a booger!!!



I actually would feel uncomfortable calling my friend Cassie's DH.. and she has issues with chicks calling him because of a certain other coworker we have calling and texting him off the hook.. so out of respect for her as a friend, knowing she doesnt like it, I dont.. I had met him first and he told me he doesnt like the way it makes her feel when chicks call him so when they shared a phone I never called.. mostly because Cassie and I weren't that close then.. I was still on graveyard and she was day shift so I only saw her when her DH and I were on last break in the morning and she would come see him.. she has told me she doesnt care if I call or text him because she knows i have no intentions of anything with him.. but I didnt call him yesterday when I heard about the accident because of him working graveyard i didnt know if he was asleep.. Cassie never got back to me about how he was tho.. I may text him in the midlde of the night when I know he is at work and see how he is.. I saw the tree they hit on the way home from my parents.. you can tell where it was because the tree is freshly missing a layer of bark and there is flowers around it...



I have him.. I dont really like him.. I got 2 new ones today.. I got Alice (a double..) and one that looks like a knight fromt he urban series.. and Peanut got another TS3 one.. he got wheezy..



OMG! I cried in the last book!! and after reading about when you had that bad dream and which book you were reading I bet i know what part it was that messed with you! If I am thinking of the right parts I almost cried during that book too! I cant wait till the next books come out!!!!!

silly peanut story!!

so I was cooking up peanut some leftovers for dinner and he was standing at the gate in front of the kitchen saying "mommy cookie cookie pleeeeeease mommy" and I said "no. if you eat your dinner you can have a cookie after.. i promise" then he said "ok... daddy cookie cookie pleeeeeeease daddy!!!"

so cute, love those moments, they are over too fast!

I am thinking I want some popcorn. If I don't put too much butter on it, it's a fairly healthy snack. Too bad I like butter...

It is a little further back than she meant to so it's not 100% noticeable. Now we just know better for next time.

Oh, and now that I'm home I'm stuck watching The Bachelor with the mommy-dearest. Quality TV right there.

Good morning all, how is everyone today? Any big plans? I'm going to OSH to look for 2 more veggies I'd love to plant, to get a trellis for the sugar snap peas Micah bought, to get a pot for my last tomato plant, go to Raley's to get my corned beef & cabbage for dinner Thursday and to get some buttermilk for the Irish Soda Bread I'm also making Thursday. And as soon as I'm done with the garden stuff I need to start working jewelry again.....I need to finish the jewelry for the wedding! Oh and I should do a load or two of laundry as well....my clothes are dirty from the garden work all weekend.

I may or may not go to a memorial service today - it's for - hold on - DH's dad's wife's mother. DH's dad was not around when he was growing up so it's not like it's his step-grandmother - we would go more as a sign of respect. DH is going to go for sure, I'm on the fence. He tells me he doesn't care if I go or not, but I'm not sure if he really means that? YKWIM? He's out for a run right now, the service starts 11am-ish. What to do, what to do ...

Tania, I'd probably be in a boat of staying home. It doesn't sound like she was a close part of the family to you so I wouldn't find i disrespectful if you didn't attend, especially if your SH will be there. But that's just me.

As for me, I have no idea what to do today. I had a very rough night and I was freaking out over some stuff so I think I read the first Shopaholic book until 2a when I was just about to pass out to keep my mind off of things before I fell into a full blown panic attack. So I really just want to go back to sleep. But I shouldn't. What I should do is go for another run today. K is on vacation with her BF so I'll be on my own today (and no weekly breakfast!!).

I am a little, thanks. Right now I'm doing my taxes. Not as bad as I thought it would be. So I'm not completely screwed!! Yay. I still really need to change my withholding so I don't end up owing next year. Maybe I'll remember to do that this week.

I think I am getting like $7 back this year. Last year I got $900. I was hoping for that again this year since I have no money coming in right now. Figures it wouldn't work out that way.

Normally I don't have a problem owing, because I know I will going into. It's just what I chose as my withholding when I filled out my W-4. I wanted more money during the year and all that. I just save accordingly. The problem that I got myself into were those darn Vinylmations that I spent about $300 dollars on in the span of a month. That was my tax money!! Thankfully it still wont wipe me out completely but I wont have the same cushion that I wanted. But I'm changing all that for next year. One day I'll get smart about it. One day.

I am not good at saving a buffer in case I owe, so it's a good thing I haven't owed in a while. I probably would have been bad with the Vinylmations too if I had the money. They seem cheap, cause they are only $10-$15 for one, but it adds up so fast.

I slept until after 11 today, but I am seriously thinking about going back to sleep. I didn't get to sleep until 3 last night, so that's probably part of it. But if I take a nap now, I probably won't sleep tonight. And I need to be up for an appointment tomorrow. The nap still might win though....

They do add up so fast. And I was using them to make myself feel better. Some women buy shoes or handbags ... I buy Vinylmation! So I've been good about them lately. I've been stressing myself out about my money situation lately, but I can definitely get this back under control. But I do still want to watch what I spend. Cut back on my eating out and such. I can do it if I tell myself I can, lol.

I know what you mean about debating on the naps (although I don't at the same time, lol). I have to force myself to not nap during the day as much as I want to sometimes. I just know it will make sleeping at night impossible.

I should probably try and stay awake. It's so hard when there isn't much to do. If I watch TV or read, I will get sleepy for sure. That doesn't leave much else other than cleaning. And who wants to do that?

I am the same way with buying stuff to make me feel better. And clothes are not my first option either. It's usually music, movies, or Disney stuff if I happen to be near a Disney store, which is probably good that it's rare.
