No, and no :rotfl: At least not the way I view it. The way I view it, the time change doesn't go into effect until after I'm off and home sleeping. I will be going off the time it is today until tomorrow. So to me it will still be 5a when I get off work, even if a clock tells me 6a.

It used to really confuse the heck out of me.

So the father unit just went to go get the shampoo vacuum thingamabob. We've moved all of the furniture and I've vacuumed a couple of times. So I'm taking a moment to relax. I think I'm done until the furniture needs to be moved back. Nobody should trust me with any kind of equipment outside of the vacuum.

Yeah it just confused me too. I had to read that several times to make sense of it, lol. But I got it.

I would never know how to use one of those shampooer things. Whenever Dillon borrows the steam cleaner from his mom to do our cars, I let him do it, cause I have no idea how they work. Speaking of which. I really need to clean my seats in my car. I didn't realize until recently how much of a mess my brother made with the Sweet and Sour Sauce he spilled when we were on our trip! Too bad it's too cold out to do it.

Yuck. When we got my car detailed after it was stolen ( man that still makes me angry) it was crazy how clean it was. Even before it was stolen and they ickified my poor car it was pretty dirty but I never would have realized it.

I kind of made a mess on my drive to Anaheim and I really need to clean my car out again. It was nice to be in an un-cluttered car. It's mostly just throwing stuff away and getting my shoes out of there that I decided to take off in favor or slippers mid-drive, lol.

My car is pretty messy right now too. When we went to Calgary a couple weekends ago we took the dogs with us, so the back seats are completely covered in hair. It's driving me crazy, but I can't get out to clean it in this weather. Oh how I can't wait for spring!!

It's nice that those guys finally left your car alone, hey? That was so strange that they kept coming back for it.

Yuck, yuck!! I would freak out if I had dog hair all over my car. My mom started letting the dog ride in the backseat of her CRV recently and I had to sit back there. It was not a pretty sight. And her car is still so new, I don't see why she would have done it. It's too bad though. I'm sure my dog would love it if we took her with us the next time we (K and I) hit up the Lafayette Reservoir for a run. But I am not transporting her in my car. No way.

And those jerks really must have wanted it. And if they knew it was an easy steal I guess there was no reason for them not to. Who knows really. A friend of mine still thinks that what happened was Guy A stole it and then sold it to Party B. Well, when it was found the first time and returned to us, Party B went back to Guy A and said get us the car back or give us back our money. Or at least something along those lines. I guess we'll never really know. But it left us out a couple hundred bucks between the towing charges, getting it cleaned, and everything that was in my car that had to be replaced. Yeah, I'm still furious over that.

Oh I would be too. It was really ridiculous that it happened, let alone more than once.

And I can't stand dog hair either! And if Dillon didn't have to get an oil change, we would have taken his car to Calgary that weekend, because we had no choice in taking the dogs. I love our dogs, but I cant STAND their hair. Ick! It drives me crazy. Would it be cruel to shave them?

Have I asked you what kinds of dogs you have? We have a Border Collie mix. She's a sweetie (mostly to everyone else, we both have an understanding to leave one another alone) but man can she shed.

We have a Jack Russell and a Chihuahua. They are both our dogs, but I say the Jack Russell is his, because he is just too much for me most of the time, lol. He drives me crazy! Lately he has taken to standing in front of me (no matter where I am) and just staring at me. It drives me nuts!! Lol. I would say we have an understanding too, but he doesn't understand. :rotfl:

My Chihuahua on the other hand, is my constant lap pet. Although we have been trying to ween her of that a bit so she isn't so jealous when I have a baby on my lap instead of her in a few months.

Aw.

See, I'm more of a cat person than a dog person. My 2 girls are curled up on my bed this very moment, hiding from the scary vacuum!

To be honest, I am more of a cat person too. I like their independence, where the dogs are constantly in our faces wanting something. Not that I don't love our dogs, it just gets a little annoying sometimes. But our dogs (well Toby mostly) were a little rough with our cats, so now my brother has them. It makes me sad that I had to give them up, but at least I still get to see them. I think I still resent Toby a little bit for it.

Yeah, I love that cats can pretty much look out for themselves. I would be a bad dog owner on my own, having to remember to let them out for potty breaks and all that. Plus I just find cats to have more personality -- even if it means they are being total witches. My 2 are very much like me, actually. It's really fun.

My cat Ellie is the only cat I've known to not ever use her claws. She never scratched me once. Well aside from the time she was on my lap and the dogs scared her, and she bolted while digging her claws into my legs, but that wasn't on purpose. But she is the greatest. Since I have given her to my brother though, she is very timid. She barely comes out of his bedroom if we are there, so I hardly ever see her. It makes me a little sad.

Cats have so much personality and I love that about them. My other cat Winston, I could hold him in my arms and cradle him like a baby, and he wouldn't move. He loved laying like that. Most cats have a fit if you do that, lol.

We've never had a huge problem with cats and claws. The 3 we have now are the first we didn't have declawed, thankfully. I hate admitting that the cats we had before all were. Poor things. My older cat, Ella, is the one who knows how to use them. She can turn on you like a second if you're doing something she doesn't like. She'll give you a warning growl and then after that you're fair game. But she's not a mean cat. She just know what she doesn't like and if you get scratched, you deserved it, lol. Every time she's done it to me I know I was being a pooh. What I love about her is she knows the sound of my car and when I come home she runs to greet me at the door. She doesn't do it to anyone else in the house which is so fun. I just love my cats, period.

Aww, that's so cute that she comes to the door to greet you. Cats are so cute.

Good morning!

Ok, so i was at Petsmart last night looking at the kitties to be adopted. We are considering getting one, but we have a bird that i love dearly. And i would be heartsick if the cat got the bird.
I was looking at kitty supplies and they had these things called "claw caps". You are supposed to glue them onto your cats claws. They are little rubber caps, they come in all colors. I'm no cat expert, but it seems to me that would not be an easy thing to do.:confused3

This is my Ellie. She is the best. Whenever I'd lay on the couch to watch tv she'd come and lay along the side of me. I miss that.

Haha, not easy would be an understatement. It's like war whenever we try to clip these girls' claws because sometimes they just get far too sharp/long. I can't say I've ever used them though.

Kittie! :lovestruc I should get some good photos of my girls. They are purdy.

Sorry it took me so long to reply back. I got another TR update finished.

Chrissys, my mom has a bird and a couple cats. I think as long as you're around the first couple days to see what the cat is like around the bird, you should be ok. They seem to eventually lose interest. The claws covers on the other hand seem like a nightmare.

I would love to see pictures when you can jazz. I love kitties. I am just at the mall right now, but I'll read your update when I get home. :)
