I'm in the internet cafe taking a break and thought I'd post. We are in Grand Cayman-85 Deg/partly cloudy. Just returned from the Hell/Turtle/Butterfly Farm excursion. We all found it quite mediocre and would do a snorkel/beach day next time. We've done Palo's twice so far-1 brunch which is really over the top and dinner. Both meals were fabulous. We've seen the Golden Mickey's,Freddie Fusion and another magic comedy act-all very good. Atended the "Making of the Magic" yesterday and liked it. Wife did the Spa Bingo but came away empty. Kids (DD5 and DD6) simply do not want to leave the club so we're on our own mostly. We're in a Cat 3 Room 8532 which is the large Cat 3 but it is disappointingly quite noisy from above. The other Cat 3 bennies are just too numerous to mention though. Anyway,we're off to the pool, dinner, kids sports competition topside,AP for dinner then "Twice Charmed" at the WD Theater. What next?? I don't know!

Is there a band onship for entertainment? Can you give comments about it? I can't imagine a sailaway party without a "good" band.

Have you been to the bar at night to see if there is a decent band in there? I've found the band mediocre in there on all 3 cruises I've done. I'm hoping for an improvement.

TIA

The band is Entwine and I have not seen them. The Sail away party had a DJ.

When is Pirate night? When is the Master Chef menu? Do they still have goofy's gala in the club?

THANKS and enjoy your vacation!

Thanks for the info!

ENJOY the rest of the cruise! I can't wait until I'm there again in February!

lrodptl,

I was wondering if they have started using the new H2O products, new towels, new bedding yet on the Magic? We are sailing her on 11-11 and I was really hopping for the new H2O products so I do not need to pack my own stuff!

Enjoy the rest of your trip!
thanks :thumbsup2

Hi!

I was on the 10/14 Magic and can tell you the H2O products are in place. However, my category 9 bed, as comfy as it was, was not new.

Saw "Twice Charmed" last night and though it was entertaining it certainly will never be a classic! It's been somewhat rocky for the last 12 hours as we head into Cozumel. We have the dolphin encounter scheduled. So long for now.

Just returned from the dolphin encounter and thought it was very good. DD5 and DD6 were a little uncomfortable because of rough water and pretty good size waves passing through the pen. We bought the DVD of our group for $29.95. Everything is Pirate tonight and tomorrow a sleep in sea day!
