Christmas day? I'm so jealous

Wonder what the park is like on christmas day, is it busy? Wouldn't mind doing it myself in the future. Christmas day in the Cinderella suite would be awesome, now all I need is them 6 lucky numbers to come out tonight

We are staying at the Marriott Village it looks great, flying with Easyjet from Newcastle. I have spent the past week planning different combinations of when, where and how to go driving DH mad so he is pleased it has been booked today.

We have been to DLP 3 times before:
1st time on a day trip from Paris in mid February 2003 it was freezing cold.

2nd time for a weekend staying at the Kyriad the beginning of December 2004 and this time I was prepared for freezing conditions - I had brought thermals, fleeces, hats, gloves and scarves, and many layers to the park with me and it was mild

3rd time in May 2006 on another day trip from Paris.

We are planning on going to the parks on Xmas day, and I am not sure what we will do for lunch yet, the restaurant booking service told me it is far too early to book a restaurant for Xmas, where would people recommend for Christmas lunch?

Hi Ann and welcome to the DIS!

We went for Christmas last year and had a fantastic time! We ate at the Lucky Nugget for Christmas Day lunch, it was fab and wasn't any more expensive than usual!

Happy Tappy - the park is quite quiet on Christmas Day, it gets slightly busier on Boxing Day, then from the 27th onwards it gets more manic every day until New Year is over!

I am so excited about going to DLP it will be very special to be there over xmas.

Been looking at restaurants, transport etc and i want to go for a DLP fix NOW! I am trying to book for 3 nights at the beginning of August (before they close BTM) and can get a flight and hotel but am stuggling to get a kennel for my 2 little dogs , I have rung around for hours today and one kennel had a cancellation for a small kennel, I have to take them along tomorrow to be sized up and if they deem them small enough I'm in for August as well
