Hey DISers:

Hello from room 533 at BCV! I'm in need of help...

I have a Camedia C3000 and I forgot the load the Camedia Master 2.0 so I can download pictures onto my laptop. HELP!!! Can someone email the Camedia Master 2.0 (this is the version that comes with the camera). Please email and add the program as an email attachment

THANKS!!!

Did you try doing a search on google you should be able to find it there.

Have you tried to attach the camera to your laptop and see if it recognizes it? Half the time I don't even need to load the software for new hardware.

Is the C3000 different from the other Olympus cameras? I just plug in the USB cable then use My Computer to browse to the camera (usually drive E: ) and drill down through a couple folders to where the pictures are. Drag (or cut and paste) them to a folder on the computer and you're done.

With my camera (D-565) the Camedia software just complicates things.

dsmith - I do the same (which I why I no longer have the Camedia disk, I guess!). I never liked the software to begin with. I have a smartmedia card reader rather than the USB cable.

Thanks for the info. Here's my email addy:

Also, I think Olyumpus Camera (at least this model) requires the Camedia software. I don't believe you can 'drag and drop'. Even if the software wasn't required, I still need the drivers for the camera.

Wish me luck!

I think it depends on the operating system you're running on the laptop.

With Windows XP, I just plug my Olympus Camedia C-700 into the USB port, and drag and drop the photos to the hard drive.

I also find the Camedia software a bit of a pain.

Did you get what you need yet? If not, I will have DH try to send what you need when he gets home this evening. We have the C-3000, but I'm not sure what I need to send you or how to do it. PM or e-mail me if you want.
