Hello and a question!

Hello everyone I'm a newbie! My name is Melissa and I've been thinking about a Disney wedding!! I have been lurking for a few days and I must say everyone's weddings are so lovely that it's inspiring me even MORE! So anyway enough jabber!

What I wanted to know was if there was a specific discount for lodging with your wedding packages (Escape or Wishes). Like is it say 15% or 5% discount? OR is it you get 3 days free type thing or no lodging discount at all? Thanks guys!

Wishes weddings are required to set up a block of rooms that will be used by guests and/or the couple, and the discounts associated with that range from 10%-30%, depending on the resort.

Escape events do not have any associated room discounts, but if you want to set up a room block, you have access to the same kinds of discounts Wishes couples do.

However—right now, anyway—there are usually much better discounts available to the general public, and you may find it cheaper to book a room using one of those than what would be offered by a room block.
