Hello! And a question from a Canadian

Hi everyone,

I've been reading this forum and going through the disney site to figure out if a DFTW is possible for an upcoming wedding. Everyone here is so amazingly helpful!

I was wondering if there anyone out there knows if there are any issues for Canadians getting married in Disney. For example, is it harder to get a license, and are there extra steps required from Canada like getting permission from provincial authorities?

Hi! i dont know the answer to your question as i am from the UK but i have ad no problems at all with DFTW! im sure someone else on here would be able to give ou some more advice though!

I am not from Canada, but I just wanted to tell you welcome to the boards!

the licence is easy to get, only takes a maximum of about an hour (there was a queue when we went), and its no harder for us "foreigners" (i'm from the UK and got married in november) to get married at disney than people from the US.
