Hello All - Just back from Poly LV and AKL Concierge

Hi Lizzie,
I'm new to forum and Disney. I too will be going AC using Spirit Air from a Sunday/Sunday in July staying at the Poly concierge with DH and 3 kids 7, 4 and 2. We have a 7 am flight going out, any advice, how was the airline? Is parking still free?

Also we'll be at the Tahiti Longhouse, would you just walk to TTC or the Poly stop on the monorail, I will have a double stroller at all times.

I'm not sure where Tahiti is, but we walked to TTC from Hawaii and even though it's somewhat of a short walk, it would've been much easier for us to take the monorail and switch at TTC. We had 2 stollers. It was HOT and DS was complaining the whole walk.

Also, we must have hit TTC at an EXTREMELY busy time. There was a HUGE line for the monorail.

Hi Micheleim,

We walked to the TTC from Tahiti. It was about a 3 minute walk. We had two strollers with us.

We also had a 7am flight on Spirit from Atlantic City. We stayed in a hotel near the airport the night before our flight to get some extra sleep. I totally recommend the 3 hours they tell you to get there before the flight. That flight was mobbed and the lines to check your bags was horrendous. Then you have to wait on line again to have your bags checked over. they won't help you put the bags on the tables either. You have to do it. We had 4 kids, 2 strollers and car seats not to mention bags for 10 days. People were getting pretty annoyed that we were taking so long, but hey, they weren't managing 4 kids in an airport.

The flight itself was great.

We valet parked the car at the Poly every day. $6 for unlimited use per day.

Thanks for the heads up on the airport, we're right in Toms River and were planning on driving down to arrive at 5:30 am, now we'll adjust our times!!!

Hey Michele,

No problem. Alot of people told us to forget the 3 hours and get there at about 5:30. I'm sorry we did. Hope you have better luck than I did.

Hi Lizzie, Your trip sounds wonderful! We are going to be staying in Tahiti too! I'm glad you mentioned your room number! I am looking for a good room with a LV. I'm not sure about a patio or balcony.
