You know the kind, they look like they are made of a swirly multi colored "rope" of candy that is coiled in a flat circle. Usually at least 6" in diameter but can be much larger. Anyone know if and where I can buy one at WDW?

:sad2: My DD9 broke my heart a little bit last night... We were fantasizing together about all the things we would see and do and eat on our trip, and she says quietly and sadly to me. "Could I have a big lollypop? I've always wanted one and you always say no." In my defence :guilty: , we usally only see them on an occasional visit to a specialty candy store, my DD asks for one in addition to the 2 or 3 treats she has already selected. But it is true, I always put the brakes on before buying the huge expensive lollypop. What's worse is when I was a kid I always wanted one too and never got it.

So now my mission is to make sure she gets that lolly. Even if I have to bring it from home wrapped in layer upon layer of bubble wrap to suprise her with it there. Can anyone help?

They're in a lot of places - you won't have any trouble.

Specifically, the Confectionary/Candy Store on Main Street in MK, Goofy's Candy Co. in DTD is where I've purchased them. I'm sure there's lots of other places - MouseGears in Epcot has a lot of candy.

Yes, you can find those easily. I have seen them at the Emporium, the bakery and the resort gift shops. I think I have seen them in the gift shop by the Pooh ride as well.

I always told my dd no too, they are huge! But then we went to Disneyland last January with my nieces and I bought all three girls one to have during the parade. I am telling you, seeing those three little girls with their great big lollies watching the parade was very sweet.

Its funny, when I was a little girl, I always wanted one of those too. They are so pretty. But I had a taste of my dd's and it was sort of nasty!

We still have two or three left from our last year's trip in January. We purchased them at the Polynesian gift shop.

OT, but I know what you mean about saying "no" - we finally let our kids get balloons in the MK last trip. Usually I always say no, but they were really happy even if they didn't last too long! Sometimes I guess it's just good to say "yes"!

Thanks for the help guys. Thats one less thing to pack. I think I might pick one up on Main Street on the way out of the park on our first day. That way I won't end up having to carry around a sticky lollypop not to mention deal with a sticky child. ;)

I heard that they were kind of bitter. Oh well, I would rather her be disappointed that it wasn't as good as she hoped instead of that I wouldn't buy her one.

Funny often how that happens. You want something for so long and once you get it, you end up realizing you weren't missing much after all. :lmao:

How funny is it that my DS who is 8 also asked for the same thing? I swear it's one of the first things he mentioned when we started talking about this trip. He did eat a little one while watching a parade the last time we were there (a random bit of magic from a fellow parade watcher) and he enjoyed it, but he wants that big sticky thing too!

I'll be stealing your idea to get it on the way out too, don't need to attract all the bugs in DW to him!

They are so sticky! I told my dd if she wants one again, we'll get it and then she can eat it by the pool!

As for the balloon thing, I was that way too. Now we get one our first day at the MK, as we leave the park. Then tie it on a chair in our room. It actualy lasts the whole trip. I always hate seeing it on the chair as I close the door that last time though!

When we first started talking about going back to WDW, DS,4, told me the one thing he wanted was a huge lollipop! :rotfl: I told him that he will get one as a special treat! He tells me all of the time he can't wait for his special treat! Who knew that lollipops were that powerful! :)

Glad to see you can buy them in the Poly gift shop!

I got dd one at the huge World of Disney store in DTD when we where there in December. She kind of did the same thing to me, telling me she always wished she could have one. I broke down and got her a pink one. ;)
