Height requirements??? The Disney World web page lists them differently

than some other sites. Here is an example:

On the main Disney website -

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/attractions/#/32-inches-81-cm-or-taller/sort=location/

it lists the height requirement for Tomorrowland Speedway as 32inches or taller. However at the following website:

http://www.bestoforlando.com/articles/can-you-ride-check-walt-disney-worlds-height-requirements/

it lists a height requirement of 52 inches for the same ride.

So I guess my question is for those who have first hand knowledge what is the correct height requirement (if you can remember). I'm assuming I should stick to the Disney website but I wanted to make sure. Thanks!

Tomorrowland Speedway has two different height requirements because you have to be 52 inches or taller to go on it by yourself but 32 inches or taller to ride if you are with an adult. I always go by the Disney website height requirements when in doubt.

The taller height is if you want to drive. A child 32" can ride along, but not drive.

Your child can drive if they are under the 52 inches, but they need to be with someone who is at least that height. My son drove with me when he was only 5 years old but wow it was a rough ride - LOL; he isn't the best at steering.

My son also drove at 5. Was quite an interesting ride...I'm still recovering from whiplash

My son was 3 the last time when he "drove". Pretty much bounced back and forth off the guide rail the whole time.

Ok, that clears it up! Thanks everyone! My son will be either 3 or 4 when we head back. And I'm pretty sure he would be disappointed if he didn't get to ride/drive!
