Welcome home, my friend. Glad to hear that you made it back safely. I am definitely missing you already...who knows when we'll meet again? I have to say that I am none too happy to be back at school and stuck in cold, grey weather. We really lucked out big time with the weather when we were there. Don't know about you, but I'm having a real hard time getting back into the swing of things. The only thing I feel like doing, aside from spending more time with Max, is writing my TR and planning my next trip! And thanks to you, a boat just might be involved!

We thought and talked about you a lot on Saturday. You have no idea HOW packed the parks were on Saturday, due to the fact that the marathon was on Sunday!

Like you, I am having a REALLY hard time going back to "real life". The weather is SOOOOOOOOOO cold and it is grey and just yuck!!!
I really love your trip report and can't wait for more. I hope to be able to start mine once I have finally finished answering all the nice posts here! I'll post a link, so you can join ........ IF you want to!
Hey, we seem to think alike a lot - when I got home yesterday, all I did was pricing out February cruises and thinking about a few days at Disney next winter half term!
And I still have my summer vacation to plan!

We had a blast at breakfast! The weather was unbelievable!! We had 86 degrees on Friday and here in Austria, in the region where I teach they had 5 degrees!
So glad we went to Florida and had some fun with friends!

LOVE the live reports! Thank you so much for taking the time! So glad you had so much fun at the Breakfast Meet (how many of us were jealous not to be there as well?? )

The Wave's food looked so good. We ate there on our last trip, but I don't remember what I ate, but I do remember that it was good!

We loved our food at The Wave and again we were the last people to leave! Their new dessert menu is great - you need to try it when you get back!

I saw on the news today it was going to be in the 80's in Orlando today- sooooooooo happy for you two!!

Tom's phone can receive and make calls in the US, but we had problems with Tina calling us - her phone would not accept to make calls to a non US phone!

Are you going on the Wild Africa Trek? It is just awesome! The guides were so nice and they stayed in character the whole time, even when the questions got a bit more "serious".

The food looks yummy! The AK excursion looks like you are really in Africa! I am not sure about that rope bridge though!

It was fun to hike around the reserve! And it was so much fun to wave at the Safari vehicles. I wonder in how many photos we ended up!

The trek is way cool! I was so happy I finally decided to book it! We had the time of our lives.
And the food was part of the trek. They built a little lookout and there they serve you breakfast or lunch. Ours was lunch and it was YUMMY!!!

Hi Karin! I'm glad you are having a good time! The live updates are great! The Wild Africa Trek looks amazing! How did you find it?

We had a blast. Sorry the live updates were so short. The Wild Africa Trek was just wonderful - we are actually talking about doing it again.
I read about it here on the DIS first, then went on the Disney site to read up on it.
As soon as we finally decided to do it (after the first reviews and we knew there was NO zip line included) I booked it and we were so happy with our trek!

Oooh your Wild Africa Trek looked like so much fun. DF was listening to a Podcast of it and it sounds incredible. Hope you guys are having the time of your lives

Stefy, if you have time, that is something you and Dave would really enjoy! They are going to ajust the prices for the summer, but it is defo worth every penny it cost!

LOVE the live updates!!!! The Wild Africa Trek looks GREAT! So glad you're having a fabulous time!

We LOVED the Trek! They keep the groups small, 12 people at most and it was such a fun time. The guides knew all our names and it was a very personal interaction with them. They were such sweet girls!

Thanks for posting those. That looked great. Do they include all photopass pictures with the CD or just the ones from the trek?

They gave us a code for the CD and I have yet to find out if they will let me include the rest of my photos. I did pre-purchase the CD as it is only 99$ instead of 149$, but with the code the CD should be free!
I'll let you know as soon as I am done putting borders on and I have ordered them!
I am not sure if Claire is old enough for it, but it was AWESOME!!!!

You are going to have a "swell" time on the trek! Be sure to let them know about the seafood, they don't bring any substitutes if they don't know beforehand. We had one lady on the trek who couldn't do seafood either and there was nothing they could do!

Wow, that trek looks awesome, Karin. I can't wait to hear more about it.

The trek was amazing! Walking over the savannah in full view of the safari vehicles was fun. And during the second part they take you out on the savannah in a special vehicle and they stop at different points and let you have a good look at the animals. The guides knew EVERYTHING about the animals and if they couldn't answer a question, they radioed in and got an answer.
I was really sad when it was all over! I loved the experience!

The Trek was such an amazing experience! I cannot wait to tell you all about it and show you some more of the photos.
The overlook - where they lock in your harness, so you can go up to the edge is unbelieveable. You literally "hang" over the hippos and cocodiles!

I ended up wearing Tom's "true mouse" Mickey Mouse T-shirt and got the funniest comments!
I had my heart set on the red and blue striped D&B, when I first saw it. Then I was torn between that one and the 40th anniversary one. Tom told me to get both AND the purse/wallet! The purse was REAL expensive, but it is what I have been looking for in a long time!

Love the shirts, the rat one is very cool. Sweet score on those D&B bags. I may have to look fro one when I go.

We got more snow today, pah! I'm so ready for SPRING!

The shirts are from the outlet mall and were a real bargain! Plus, we got a LOT of comments on them.
The D&Bs are my favourite bags. If only they were not so expensive! But they are worth every penny!

The red and blue is my favourite too. I had my heart set on it when I first saw it, then I touched the 40th anniversary one and it was hard to decide, so I gave in and went for both!

I really love the Disney outlet stores around WDW! Lots of fun things to get to really nice, discounted prices!
The D&Bs are from World of Disney, but having an AP discount helped a bit with the decision!

Yes, we'll be back in under 6 months. Only 166 days to go ....... we started our countdown at 350 days, so we are way past half of the countdown!
