Yes I really hope by some miracle we will be able to get in to BCV. I wouldn't be disappointed in staying at AKV, I love it there, but my friends that are going really want to try SAB!

Yes I was so bummed I missed you guys then. That trip was rescheduled and then had to be canceled for good. Not because of the dog, who is absolutely fine now, but because my grandma isn't doing well after the death of my mother (her daughter). It's like she aged 10 years in the 3 years my mom was sick. I dunno, maybe she will start feeling better one day and we could go for F & W? We'll see....

Good morning, Karin! Although, it will probably be afternoon or evening when you see this! We are down to what.... twenty-five days??? I'm so excited, I'm just walking around grinning and giggling for no apparent reason. This is not an easy feeling to explain to non-Disney people!

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed reading your reports and reviews I was happy to see you and Tom enjoyed your breakfast at CP . My DH and I went on our honeymoon and have gone back every time. It is the one thing he insists on when we go to WDW.

I don't know if you have ever gone to Maggiano's or Carrabbas on your trips to WDW , but you may want to check them out sometime when eating offsite & in the mood for Italian.
As much as we like our local Olive Garden, DH & I give even bigger to those 2 chains.

My friend said that since we got a 7:25 Cali Grill ADR (more than a month after the booking window opened!) for one of the nights we're hoping to be there that the Pixie Dust for our trip has already happened. I said I think it means we will be lucky for everything on the trip! I hope...

We were really pleasantly surprised by Crystal Palace last year, we both are not really into the Character Meals but this one was really quite nice!

Thanks for the restaurant recommendations! We looked at the menus online and Tom has already programmed them into our GPS! If there is not enough time to try them in February, we will have plenty of time (17 nights) during our summer vacation!

We are only 3 weeks away from our February vacation!

We are only 28 weeks away from our summer vacation and 29 weeks and 1 one day from setting foot on the DREAM!

And the biggest and BEST NEWS of all ............​

We will have a DISmeet on our second day at WDW, February 20!

Who with you ask?

First there is going to be the Food Porn Queen, MickeyNicki and her husband Todd!

That's NOT her husband by the way! Just a close friend!

And we are going to meet Tina, Mark and little Max (tinacaplan) there too!

All seven of us are going to meet for breakfast at the Cape May Cafe! I can't wait for that day to finally arrive!

I guess we will be up pretty early as our body will think it is actually 6 hours „later“.

Once we have taken our showers and gotten ready we will check out of the Clarion and drive over to the Beach Club for breakfast at 7.45am.

It will not be just any breakfast at the Cape May Cafe! It will be a

DISMEET BREAKFAST!!!!!!!!

Who will be there?
MickeyNicki and her husband Todd
Tina, Mark and little Max
Tom and I

And here's the story that goes along with it!
Tina and I had planned for a long time to meet at CSR during our vacation - we still plan on spending EMH at the MK together.

But last week I got a PM from MickeyNicki. She and her husband had decided to take a short vacation at WDW and our dates overlapped. We compared our itineraries and breakfast on our first full WDW day seemed like the perfect option. I was able to grab a reservation for 4 at Cape May Cafe and we were set. In the meantime Tina and Nicki had decided to meet as well and had the best idea ever - why not ALL meet at Cape May. Now Tina holds our ADR at Cape May and we are going to have a blast, while we are nibbling on Mickey waffles and talk and talk and talk and .............

Guess there will be a few fun photos to post here!

Depending on when we will have finished breakfast we might even walk over to Epcot

and spend some time there before we will drive over to the Coronado Springs Resort to check in.

I doubt they will have a room available by mid morning, so we intend on dropping off our luggage at bell services, before heading out again.

Depending on the time we will leave the Coronado Springs Resort we will head to the

Prime 1 outlet to have a good look at the

Disney Outlet before heading over to Universal Citywalk.

I guess Tom will have a good look around th Fossil store and I “might” just pop into the Fresh Produce store that sells all those fab Vera Bradley bags. Maybe I will even buy one!

By then it should be time for lunch and a visit to Bubba Gump’s Shrimp Company.

I wonder what I might order at Bubba’s?

Maybe I’ll try the Coconut Shrimp “for a change”!

We will have to leave Citywalk by then and get back to the car. Once we are out of the Universal Structure we will head towards Port Canaveral to have a look at “our” Dream. Yes, the Disney Dream is supposed to sail out of Port Canaveral that day at 4pm and we want to see her off!

I'm a regular reader of your trip reports, but it is the first time that I've registered here. I've just read that you are a teacher in Upper Austria, may I ask where? I grew up near Linz, but we moved to Salzburg many years ago.

Thanks for your wonderful trip reports. I'm very jealous about your trips. Until now we have only been to Disneyland Paris.

I actually live in Linz, right in the heart of the city and I teach in a village close to Bad Leonfelden.
Where did you grow up? I LOVE Salzburg, one of the most beautiful cities in Austria, isn't it? I intend to take my class on one last class trip to Salzburg in the summer if all works out well!

If you ever want to go to WDW, let me know! I would love to help you plan - we went at least once a year for the last 12 years and usually stay for 4 - 6 weeks, so if you need any hints, just let me know!

Hi Karin,

I grew up in Walding. That's approximately 10km from Linz. The only thing I know about Bad Leonfelden is the famous Kastner bakery. I love their products.

Salzburg is indeed very beautiful, but it is also cramped during summer and winter, especially during the Salzburg Festival and Christmas Market.

When you take your class to Salzburg, you definately should go to the trick fountains of Hellbrunn. I'm sure they will like it.
