Karin I looked at that Safari Tour too , for our October Free Trip !!At first I too thought we would be dangled on a rope and wanted NO part of that , but later it was explained better and I wish we were doing that one , but we do get to do the Grand Gathering Safari!! I will be letting them know about your tour so maybe in 2012 they will add that to it !!!

I did tell them about th Epcot Dinner/ Illuminations party and I see that is on the agenda for this year!!

What fun!!!! I wanna sneak in your suitcase on these trips!!

I can't wait !!I really enjoy the Free Trips !! I just looked at my vacation hours !!I have 180+ so I have no fear of going over I seldom have to use 40 hours on the Free Trips as I usually work extra before and after , Now the August trip will take quite a few !!!

Your change is awesome. I can't wait to hear all about it and see pics. I was tempted but even at that fabulous discount for a family of 6 it would more than break the bank. Maybe Dan and I will think about it if we brave going by ourselves for our anniversary next year, which he seems to be pushing harder and harder for.

I know, the price for the tour is a bit steep, especially if your family has quite a few members.
But I think you should take it when you do an adults only trip! Your anniversary trip next year would be the perfect time.

Hi Karin, I love the safari tour and it does look a bit scary! I would like to take that tour some day, can't wait to hear how you like it.

I was really turned off in the beginning when there was talk of a "zip" line. Would not have been for me - but I guess I can manage the wobbly bridge! We got good training for that last year on the WONDERful Disney WONDER, didn't we?

Any Disney behind the scenes tour will be great, Rosie! And we get to see a totally different experience when you do the Grand Gathering Safari!

We LOVE Flame Tree and that Animal Trek sounds awesome.

We love Flame Tree too! Last time we were at WDW Flame Tree was closed for refurbishment! So we are really looking forward to it.

Just a short little news update!

ONLY 27 MORE DAYS UNTIL WE LEAVE!!!!!!!!

I went online and did our visa weaver application today and we are good to go - paid our 28$ and now we are allowed to travel!

Off topic! I renewed my D23 today as well. I have been a Charter Member, joined on the day it was first offered and this is already my third year! I LOVE the magazines and the little extras that come with it!
The only thing is ..... postage and packing outside of the US is an extra 50$!
Oh well, it's Disney!

We were debating how much luggage we will need to bring. This is the first year we are only allowed 1 suitcase each for free. So I hope we can manage with just two. We were thinking about stuffing one extra bag into our big bag, so we would have a third bag just in case. I hate paying for the extra bag! It takes away money from my Mickey fund!

And I must not forget to pre-order our photo pass CD!

Day 6, February 24, 2011 - Part 1

Today we want to try to make it to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for rope drop.

Our first stop will be the Fast Pass machines for Toy Story Mania.

Then I guess we will get in line and ride it right away. Once we are done playing with Woody and Buzz we will track back to the Tower of Terror

and try to have a Twilight Zone adventure. And when we finally come back we will walk over to Rock’n’Rollercoaster.

I guess by then we will be able to pick up another Fast Pass and this time it will be for Tower of Terror.

And since we will have had a light breakfast we will be hungry again by then. Now, seeing all those photos of the new Designer Burgers that pop up all over WDW, I am dying to try the Surf and Turf Burger at the ABC Commissary.

Guess we will share that and have a snack from Starring Rolls for dessert.

We don’t want to fill up too much!
If the line is not too much we can then try to get on the Great Movie Ride

and The Muppets 3D

if we still have time. I guess our last ride at the Studios will be the second ride on Tower of Terror, before we head towards the exit and over to the Magic Kingdom.

We hope to find a nice space to park the car close to the tram, then hop on the Monorail and into the Magic Kingdom.

It's funny I didn't even know that "Great Movie Ride" was there lol! But I plan on going on it when we go in October. Also I am sure my daughter will be mezmorized by "Beauty and the Beast." We couldn't even talk to my oldest while the play was in session.
I am debating for us if we should get the Fantasmic Dinner Package at Brown Derby or try to go see Fantasmic on our own? I have never seen Fantasmic either but the rest of my family has. I am always the one that had to take my youngest back to the resort.
I really want to go to Sci-Fi too so we have some decisions to make in the next few months. Hope my little one grows somemore before October so we can go on the rides as a family.

We really enjoy the Great Movie Ride, especially during the hot summer season. Such a nice cool ride into the movies. You need to try it next time!

We had the Fantasmic Package at the Brown Derby last time, and even though the food was quite nice, I wasn't all that impressed with wth BD. We'll try to get a lunch package at Mama Melrose instead.
We have both seen Fantasmic a few times and it's a really fun show. But I really don't like to queue up for it 90 minutes prior! So we either need to get a package or forget about it!
Sci-Fi is real good fun - get a shake! They are to die for!

I really hope that for once we will stick to the schedule! So far we usually look at it in the morning, then just say ........ nay, and do something else! But since we will meet up with Tina and have a few ADRs we might even stick to some of my planning!

Hmm...we got to work this out! Right now I have Cape May breakfast booked for 8am and then we are going to Epcot for the day, lunch at SAI before we head off. I think we are going to leave Epcot around 4pm.
