So...I am sooo mad! I ordered the 27.00 Heely's before Christmas. Calledinto customer service and was told they would be overnighted before Christmas. WELLL we just got them yesterday! DD was OK with that anyways cause she at least knew she was getting them. Come to find out they sent her the WRONG wheels! NOONE in my area sells wheels in her size (and the wheels alone were 20 something dollars!) so I called back Sports Authority and they told me that basically I am a=out of luck for their mistake. I could return them and reorder at the full price!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that! It is not even my mistake! All I wanted them to do was send me out some replacement wheels! \What would you guys do now? She has a pair of Heely's w/ no wheels! What fun is that?
 
They sent the wrong wheels in the same box as the shoes?

I would take them back to the store. If you dont live by a store call the Corp. Headquarters. Noway is it your problem they put the wrong wheels in the wrong box!

I just called Heely's number and apparently I am not the only one that Sports Authority did this too. She said she has had numerous calls about the wrong wheels being sent. I guess they didn't pay that close attention when shipping all them orders.
 
That is the most ridiculous response I have ever heard. I would call back and talk to someone else immediately. I assume you charged your purchase.. I think that you should request a charge back from your credit card today if you don't get any satisfaction.

Escalate the call when you call back. Ask to speak to their supervisor.
 
Thank you guys so much for your input. I am going to make another call. I am sop stressed out about this! Yes, I did charge it and will call them to. I honestly never thought of that either. I will let ya know what happens.
 
my dd got hers today. my ds's have not arrived yet. There are no plugs ofr them though. aren't they supposed to come with plugs for when you don't want to heely?

I got mine from shoe.com... mine came with the plug/covers on them and a bag of wheels sealed in plastic attached to the shoes.
 
Two arrived yesterday, and one today. I placed the order on 12/17 and there was some sort of guarantee they would arrive by 12/23 or they are free. Of course I didn't print out any of that info. Anyone else remember reading this or was there some size 1 fine print that I didn't see?
 
I don't remember anything about that guarantee--that would have been great. Let us know if you find it!! I just called SA and the ones DD got do not come with the plugs --you have to go to another store and buy them. SA didn't know how much they cost or what the deal was as they don't sell them:confused3 The ones Iam STILL waiting for that are for DS are supposed to have the plugs in the box. We'll see
 
I didn't buy the Heely's but have had issues with Sports Authority this Christmas. My local Sports Authority had particular rollerblades on sale for a 2 day period, but had no "girl" ones in stock, only boy color ones.

The employees at my local store put me in touch with another Sports Authority in a different county, but still fairly local (about 45 minutes from the other store). This other store offered to ship the girls rollerblades to my house no charge, since it was further away. I paid for the stuff at my local store and an email was sent to the further store.

Well, about 5 days later, my rollerblades arrive from the other further Sports Authority. I open up the box and see that it is boy blades in a girl box! Yes, right size right box, but wrong skates. I call the further away store and explain it to them.

They offer to give me the right shoes if I come in to the store. Fortunately, this store is near my university so I was able to go after class and switch them no problem. They were not able to tell me why the wrong shoes/skates were in the right box or why no one checked the box before shipping it out.
 
I read that about the guarantee too. My hubby is calling tomorrow because they still would not give me to a supervisor. He is more demanding than myself so I am hoping this can get all taken care of tomorrow. The guarantee was get the shoes by the 23 or they are free and they will credit your account and you keep the shoes,.
 
Well, the Heelys I ordered (on 12/17) for DD did arrive on 12/23 with regular shipping, and the shoes are adorable with plugs and wheels in the box, however they are the WRONG size! I am not happy with that! My DD has Heelys and I know they run small, so I puposely ordered a Girls size 2 which is the size she is wearing in the Heelys she has. I received a size 1 - which is way too small. I called SA and asked about exchanging them for the correct size, and was told I had to reorder them and not at the price I paid ($27 and change). I cannot even believe their return policy - it is their error yet I am out a pair of Heelys at an excellent price? SA said they will email me a free shipping return label to send them back at their cost, however that has not happened - maybe the holiday is holding it up. Anyhow, I ordered a pair for DS also - in a size 2 sizes larger than his size in Heelys - they have not arrived yet and I am almost afraid to look in the box once they do, LOL.
 
Just checked mine. They're ok, but what a hassle people have had getting these Heely's. Ughhh...I would rethink ordering from SA again.
 
There customer service is terrible. I will never purchase from here again! That is insane. They obviously sent whatever out to people since they were in a crunch at Christmas time and now they are acting like it is our mistake!

Did you get the kind with 2 wheels on each shoe? I was considering those, but when I read that particular style does not come with plugs, I went with the 1 wheel style instead.

I got the size and style I ordered with all the proper wheels and plugs and they fit just right. I even went with a dark color - didn't think about the getting dirty easy thing, I just liked them best. Of course they came after Christmas, but with all the problems some of you are having... I count myself lucky!

I hope those of you who are having problems can work your way up the ladder at SA far enough to get to someone who will step up and do the right thing.
 
Wow they sent me an email the day after the code ended and said the ones I ordered were out of stock. Funny they were in stock when I orederd them. The so called customer service agent would not give me a new code, so my DD didn't get any Heelys for Xmas. Now I think I'm luckier that they canceled my order. I'm sorry that you all had problems. I know I'm done shopping with them and thats what I said in my email to them.
