Depends where you are coming from. We are from Wisconsin and one year people were around the pool wearing winter coats while we were swimming. You may have a cool walk to your room. I would swim without a doubt. Enjoy your vacation.
Sure. We were at the GF a couple of weeks ago for the Disney Marathon and they did close the water play area by the lake side pool for a morning or two because it was windy and cold. I think TL was even closed one day while we were there. But the temperatures were in the 40s.
My son did get into the courtyard pool there and as long as he stayed under water he was fine.
The water's fine as long as you're IN it. It's when you get out that you run the risk of freezing your chummies off. Cool weather is fine. But if it's windy, you'll feel colder. Bring something warm to wear to and from the pool.
My son and niece (10 and 5 at the time) swam at Pop when it was 48 degrees and cloudy out. I stuck a foot in the water and it felt FREEZING to me. No way would I do it, but the kids had fun.
According to where you are from and what you are used to. Frankly to me 82 is cold in the summer, but I'm from Georgia and get cold really easy. When I go diving and the water is 79 or 80 everyone else is wearing shorty dive skins, I'm wearing a 5 mil which is what most people wear when it's cold. As others have said, it will be a little chilly when you get out but you never know what the weather in Orlando is going to be.
I thought the disney pools weren't heated? We live in florida now (just moved here Nov.) And we have a pool that is way too cold to swim in right now....nvr mind I just looked it up. My son will be happy next week when we are at cbr!
