Heat in November

I booked in November (versus Aug/Sept) hoping for at least high 70s/low 80s... now it is showing upper 80s for our visit coming up (yep, I know it can still change). I never even gave a thought to wearing masks, until now when I saw the temp forecast at almost 90. How rough is it with that heat? We are going - we are excited - we are wearing masks - just want to be prepared.

Just practice at home, take long walks outside, in the heat of the day, while wearing masks. We all survived summer in Orlando with masks, it's uncomfortable but not undoable
Our heat now is drier so that helps

A drier heat even in mid 80s is much easier to deal with then 90s with high humidity. I am more worried about ETA next weekend for my trip.

If it's just rain, the crowds will be low for us... if it's more, than we all hunker down together? Oy - 2020!

I carry a small umbrella with me...not for rain, but for the sun. Many of the queues stretch out into direct sunlight, and keeping my head and neck shaded helps a LOT.

I went the end of September when the heat index was in the 100’s. It really wasn’t that bad, but I had a neck fan and an umbrella for shade More than for rain. You really forget you have mask on at times.

So the projections show Eta will be south and maybe a little west of Miami on Monday morning. My flight from Minnesota is supposed to arrive in Orlando just after 11am. Will Eta cause winds high enough to possibly delay or cancel my flight?

I am leaving in a few days and having that same worry - also concerned about Hurricane Eta!
Totally agree with you about Eta! The news talks about it like Florida will get slammed starting tomorrow until at least Tuesday as Eta slowly winds up the coast. But when I look at Orlando weather reports it states 50% chance of t-storms and/or showers on Sunday and Monday. Not sure what to believe all day torrential rain for two to three days or the usual chance of an afternoon t-storm but otherwise ok? I'm used to watching Florida weather but today it's like two totally different scenarios. Anyone that currently lives in Florida able to give us a weather report?

I won't sugar coat it but since you asked for opinions...it sucks.

At home I wear hats alot but in the parks I often leave the hat at home and just go with sunglasses and I was not prepared for how much my glasses would fog up.

I have quite a few different kinds of masks and in the end, the lightest, "coolest", most comfortable ones we used were the cheap disposable ones. I made sure I had a few on me for each day.
