Heat/humidity last 2 weeks august

Honestly, I do count myself lucky then. We went to Discovery Cove on Aug 5, 2003 and it was about 83 degrees. We remember thinking this was perfect. I'm sure being that you live in FL, you get a better handle on what the averages are. I believe you when you say that is the monthy average for August---it just hasn't exactly been my experience in the 3 Aug trips we've made to WDW. I'm not saying none of the days hit low 90's when we were there, but there were also some that fell under 85. Like you said.....just got lucky I'm sure
