Have the admins of this board looked into this vulnerability. I would feel comfortable knowing it has been looked into. It may be wise to let your users know the status.

Have you shared financial information on this site? Is your password for this site the same as your passwords for sites that involve financial or identity information? I don't see why it should matter for the DIS boards.

I dont see why that should matter. Its just good practice to update and patch. there are hundreds if not thousands of users on this board. I would think the owners/operators should be willing to look into securing our trust no matter what kind of data is shared.

its a flaw within the sites security system that exposes all its user's passwords... facebook, reddit, etc are all affected by it...

hopefully the admins are looking into it, i just posted about it in the General Chat, hopefully an admin would see it soon.
