This will be our first trip to Disney and on DCL since my daughter got her hearing aids. I was wondering if anyone knew if rides and shows were equipped with hearing loops or if she needed a DAS to get into a special section of a theater that was.

If not I saw on the DAS website they rent things for the hearing impaired. Does anyone know what these are?
TIA

DAS will not help as it is for lines only. There are some rides and shows that have caption devices that you rent from guest services. I believe you leave a deposit as they do not cost but are expensive so they want them back. Also if your daughter knows ASL
there are specific performances and days where interpreters are at each park.

Here is the section of the WDW website that has information that may help.

think as fair as rides she can ride any thing at disney I would just make sure her hearing aids are not lose and will not fall out.

the PP is right she will not need a DAS card if her only problem is hearing just let the CM know when you are seeing show I know some have something to help people with hearing problems like one ( I think the hall of presidents ) have a mirror that they have CC on it so you could read it. Other things is a head set you can get from GR with a deposit and this you can use on rides. I saw on a youtube video today ( or yesterday ) that the new TSMM track had CC on it, I have never seen it but just heard about it today.
