Heads up: SPG AMEX annual fee increase!

I don't usually read through my statement to the very back where coupons and such usually are, but in cleaning up did, and they are raising the annual fee from $65. to $95..

I called and they said it is because of added benefits: BOINGO hotspots and no foreign transaction fees...those were what was mentioned to me.

I just wasn't aware, and imagine someone else might have missed it too.

Ugh, I heard that. I may be replacing one of my SPG cards (personal and business) with a different card.

Unfortunately, Chase won't give me any more cards for having opened too many within the past 2 years. Grrr

A new benefit for the business card is access to the Club Lounge when staying at a Sheraton. -- Suzanne
