That would be the fair way to do it. Perhaps adding some regular park hours is helpful overall, but EMH times are still important particularly since advanced planning really is quite necessary these days if you want to actually get some of your desired activities.
So, just to make sure I understand... folks with resort/hotel reservations on-site during affected days DID NOT GET ANY notification of the changes whatsoever? It should be relatively easy for Disney to send an email, letter, or automated call to notify folks (I realize not super easy or cheap but needed to be done).
If that is truly the case, it really is fairly outrageous.
I have been toying with the idea of getting another round of 10 day No-Expire Hoppers with Water Parks for the family. I put that thought on hold to see how the FP+ situation was going to shake out. I had high hopes that Disney was positively responding to feedback, but now this.
They are going to have to get their act together before I commit that much time, energy, and money to them again.
